First time trying korean food, so I ordered the cafe ramen with pork and it was absolutely amazing. Also tried the kimchi stew and scallion kimchi and found that I am not quite into it. But to each their own lol
The food here is fantastic, and I wouldn’t ordinarily leave a bad review, but after receiving the wrong takeout order, we were pressured into bringing the order back so it could be redelivered, despite it being opened. It’s a really unsanitary and irresponsible practice and absolutely not okay. I understand the pressures of managing online orders, but the fact that we were repeatedly asked to bring an open order back for redelivery is really unsettling.
Had the Doeji Bulgogi - spicy sauce is delicious with the pork and veggies. Have to get the bibimbop in a stone bowl for the nice crispy bits of rice.
This restaurant serves delicious Korean cuisine. Unquestionably one of the greatest Korean restaurants in the city for a formal sit-down meal. You get a lot of food for your money, and it's all very delicious. There was plenty of seating for our party of five and at first we were concerned that there would be no room for us because there were so many people in the restaurant, but the staff were attentive enough to notice us and politely accommodate us to available seats, and it wasn't just the service that was amazing, the food was also amazing, from the steak and Korean curry being beautifully seasoned and plentiful, to the Cheese Dakgalbi which was delicious and made of spicy chicken marinated in Korean gochujang sauce, stir-fried Overall, they offer a very nice environment, amazing and polite personnel, and delicious food that is created fresh to order and tastes like it was just eaten. We intend to return here in the future to sample more of their offerings. I'm sure they all taste nice as well.
A great casual dining experience in West Town. The BonChon is delicious and the sauces are tasty. I really like the spam musubi and the bibimbap
The menu is limited, but what they do offer here are many of the staples you'd expect to find at a Korean restaurant. Unlike many other Korean restaurants, though, they are actually willing to accommodate dietary restrictions—e.g., vegan and vegetarian. A huge bonus! While I wanted to give this place 5 stars, I have found the quality of the food to be inconsistent. The last time we ordered food from here, they had clearly just cleaned the kitchen, as everything we ate tasted like Frebreze or some other cleaning spray. That was pretty gross, needless to say, but usually the food from here is solid. I've also stopped ordering their kimchi because the last few times they served us really old kimchi that was well past its "use by" date—i.e., it had that gnarly, sour quality to it that, for most Korean households, means it's either time to toss the kimchi or dump it into a stew to mask/cook off the rancidness.
Omg this place was so random for me and my 12 yr old. Now let me tell you the Kim chi stew was wonderful extremely delicious. My daughters soup was also wonderful unfortunately I don't remember the name of it ?. Just great food overall. You can taste the spices and it was a wonderful blend of flavors
I would give more than 5 stars if i could.I could experience the original taste of Korean food at this restaurant. Highly recommend 치즈 닭갈비 & 짬뽕. The staffs were really kind too.
Tried the ddukbokki with cheese and the cheese dakgalbi and it was honestly amazing. We ask for mild spice on both and it was spot on. The ddukbokki has an amazing sweet and spicy taste that I will definitely crave constantly lol.The recipes are all made by the owner, who’s really nice with staff and customers. Great customer service and amazing food ?
Their tteokbokki was pretty good, a little sweet but I did ask for extra spicy and did help a little. Super kind and not super expensive but not cheap either. I really liked it.
