This listing is very misleading! They do not have a storefront and the address listed is their office location only. When we called, they said they had an online store only. Would be nice to update their google info as we went out of our way to go to the nonexistent shop. Update: Store let us know they had just moved and had not had time to update their paperwork yet. Hopefully that will change in the future - added 2 stars to our initial 1 star review (for a total of 3 stars) as I am a small business owner and understand that issue was more complex than we initially realized. Minus 1 star for the business responding a bit more rudely than necessary, however. A response like “We are so sorry, we just moved and are a small business and haven’t had time to update our information†is totally understandable and better customer service than “geez. We just moved. Didn’t you just call?†Why would we have any reason to automatically assume the business no longer existed as a store front and called to make sure? Glad we did not spend our money here since customer service clearly needs a little bit of work! Would have deleted the review completely if not for the rude response!

What's not to like, Belgian chocolate paired with once a month wine tasting, oh yea, so much fun I went out in 9 degree weather just to hang out.
This is such a small beautiful shop filled with the most wonderful chocolate I've gotten to taste in the city. The owner is incredibly lovely and wanted to cater to our group when we showed up unannounced. Would absolutely come back again!

KC CHOCOLATIER is the most exciting candy shop to enjoy IMPORTED Belgian chocolates located in Lincoln Park! One may even decide to sit & enjoy a warm expresso, enjoy a game of Sunday Scrabble, or a fabulously delicious ice cream cone. KC Chocolatier has been featured on Channel 7 Neighborhood News & Lincoln Park's Chocolate Tours because of its wonderful contribution in adding a touch of imported Belgian treats into the neighborhood. All of KC Chocolates are imported from the town of Tienen in Belgium. I spent many days this past summer enjoying watching all of the dog walkers, mom's & their strollers full of kids, and many of the Chicago Cubs fans pass by the shop. But, I noticed that no one could just walk by without stopping in & leaving with those little red boxes! The WEDDING BOX is a hot seller since many couples have gotten engaged in the beautiful little shop. I highly recommend visiting KC Chocolatier of Chicago the next time you're in Lincoln Park or the Lakeview areas. I even ordered on Grub Hub & had the chocolates delivered right to my front door! I must say, their hot chocolate, as well as their sipping chocolate (sweeter), is hands down the best I've ever tasted. It has a nice savory Belgian flavor that isn't too overly sweet and is a must try. Am officially a genuine fan of their hot choco. The chocolate treats are quite good also and have yet to try them all. But emphasis on the hot chocolate.
Stopped in here yesterday with a group of friends. Not only was the owner, Karin, knowledgeable, but she was incredibly friendly was well. We had an absolutely marvelous time, and I will 100% be coming back to this chocolate shop again. 5 stars isn't a high enough rating
