Excellent service. The sushi was the BEST I’ve had in years. Will absolutely visit again the next time I’m in Chicago.

We popped over here after our tour of the Chicago History Museum and it was a fun find! The rock shrimp and scallop sushi were the best thing we ordered. The Yakisoba could have had a slightly more interesting sauce. Friendly service.

Tasty dishes. Loved tempura and sashimi ..sake and maguro melted in your mouth!

I love everything about this restaurant! shrimp shumai just excellent!

Honestly- amazing customer service and great drinks but the food was really bad. Not sure if it was an off day but the crab in the sushi rolls were crunchy as if the shell was still on. We got a noodle dish with beef and the beef tastes like fish we couldn’t even swallow. Not sure if it was an off day for the food but was hoping for better.

Loved the sushi

Sushi is incredible and service impeccable even on an extremely busy evening

I was unfortunately disappointed with the dining experience at Kamehachi. It was a Tues evening and got relatively busy. For at least 15min at a time, multiple times throughout the night, we couldn't even see any waiter to get the attention of. The person we were able to find refused to take the additional food/drink request but thankfully did get the waiter to come by a few minutes later. Add to this a very unusual situation where the hostess was at the table filling up water but then proceeded to pour water on the floor as she was talking to us. Another time someone picking up plates decided to pick up one at a 45° angle with soy sauce on it spilling it all over the table.Additionally, I was unimpressed with the value for money. The sashimi/nigiri was adequate but I was very unimpressed with the rolls. They were just very underwhelming and boring compared to pretty much anywhere else I've ever been.I would not recommend Kamehachi to anyone and I will not be returning.

Always enjoy Kamehachi - Wells Street. I enjoyed the chef's sashimi selection, very fresh and flavorful.

Great sushi and service. Always an enjoyable dining experience.
