While visiting my brother in Chicago, he insisted we visit his neighborhood butcher and pick up a few things to take home. Great selection, friendly service, and what looks like some great meat. Like the neighborhood vibe here...Support local!
I'm 39 years old and I remember going here when I was little kid with mom, Now that all the kids are adults this is the only place we go when we grill & mom still rolls in every week or so, most friendly group of guys and all the meat especially the sausage is the best
I've gone to this place occasionally to get meat bones for my dog. My most recent visit was yesterday to by meat and bones for my German Shepherd. I was helped by the owner Ben who was so nice. He was so helpful and really understood what I was looking for and made sure I was getting what I wanted by asking me what specific size of cuts for the meat and bones for my dog; and offered info and recommendations that I never knew. Overall it was just a great experience. I have tried a few of their items and very good. Looking forward to trying all their meats. Lifelong customer.

Great cuts of meat, great customer service. Have not had one thing here that was not good. They cut your steaks however thick u want them, they will take the time and answer any of your questions as well and they also have great knowledge of everything they sell. It is sad that a review from a little girl named Willie gave these people a 1 star because they followed state regulations and make everyone where a mask. They reason we all have to wear masks is because of people like Willie who are inconsiderate of other people in this world who have pre-existing conditions and can die if they get covid. Is it really that difficult to put on a mask for 5 minutes while in the store? I'd smack you if I ever seen you.
The best meats...lots of different sausages....have their own baked ham and roast beef...olives...barrel pickles.I only buy my meats here every week.Ben and rest of staff are the best.
It's a very nice little family owned butcher/ Deli. It has a good selection of imported Italian products and cheeses. They make all there sausages inhouse. Let me tell you there Italian sausage is the best I ever had! They also do at thanks giving you can order a fresh turkey what a difference that makes I can never got back to store bought turkey anymore. Give them a try you sure get your money's worth from there meats.
I'm new to the neighborhood and found this gem online but apparently everyone I spoke to in the area told me this is THE place to go for meats. I'm a total noob at cooking so wasn't sure what to get. Benny, one of the butchers, was super helpful and was really patient with me. He gave me a walk through, took time to find out what I liked and gave me some great tips on how to prepare what I purchased. He even wrote down what I needed to make a great steak. This was BY FAR one of the best steaks I ever had and their Italian sausage was amazing! This is my new go-to for meats and deli goodies. I love this neighborhood!
