We literally celebrate very special occasions with a train ride down to OTC and the French Market just to get a bowl of this insanely delicious gumbo. I’m guessing the rest of the food here is good, too, but we always get the Bourbon Street Gumbo (includes shrimp). LOVE IT!
Food was DELICOUS. They mean it when they say make a reservation, they got busy as soon as they opened. The wings were crispy & flavorful. The servers were very kind. We checked out everyone's food that passed us, it all looked amazing. The smell coming from the building is mouth watering. Can't wait to try again. Can't beat a $2 parking garage across the street either!
Grabbed the half Po boy, half Jambalaya special. The food was amazing! The fast paced ambiance was great. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the French market again.
Most of this review is based off of the brisket. While the pepper seasoning was alright, the cook on it was really bad. It was tough and chewy. The fat was gristly. Nothing like the tenderness you expect from a bbq brisket.The chicken, cornbread, and gumbo were alright but nothing to write home about. On top of that they were sold out of their wings and pecan pie so we couldn't have dessert.I wish that was all that was wrong, but on top of that there was a baby crying and screaming throughout the whole dinner. I know that's not something you can really prevent, but it definitely did not help.

Had a po boy sandwich with andouille sausage. Sandwich was very tasty and sercice was fast.

Perfect Lenten dinner tonight!!! BYO Cajun shrimp po-boys, shrimp corn chowder and Cajun shrimp Mac and cheese where delicious! Delivery was a huge plus!!! Thank you!
