This is just amazing. Didn't know what to order so I freestyled and everything came out to be great. Very clean environment and for was exceptional. VIVA PUERTO RICO

They had fallen in for a little while but they right back on top as far as I’m concerned came here with my daughter today and the service was excellent and the food was even better great job guys keep it up!

Dined in here this Evening, Party of Three, food was good….. but when the bill came i noticed that they added 18% gratuity to the bill. I thought that was not allowed. When i asked the server he said that it was a “Service Charge”, i asked what service when it clearly states Gratuity. And I told him that nowhere on the menu or in the restaurant does it notify customers that there is a automatic gratuity. They got all offensive towards me, now don’t get me wrong I normally tip 20% but I don’t like the fact that they automatically add gratuity at this restaurant without notice in the city of Chicago. I feel when gratuity is automatically added they don’t have to put any effort in their Service since they’re getting 18%.They lost a loyal customer, PLEASE BEWARE

Loved it here! Food is fantastic. I’ve had food in PR, and Jibaritos on Harlem is authentic, flavorful, delicious, and comforting. Staff is very, very friendly. Waiter brought us 2 empanadillas - ground beef and chicken w/cheese, and papas rellenas to try while our food cooked. I ended up ordering the empanadillas to go and my meal was a Jibarito de bistec encebollado with arroz con habichuelas (rice and beans). The steak was tender and flavorful. My friends and I drove from the south suburbs and it’s worth the drive. I’m coming back!

I can't understand the complaint about the gratuity tip added to the bill. The staff is working very hard, hundreds of people a day, not to mention the city of Chicago property taxes and all of that! So whoever was complaining in the reviews should be more understanding HELLO.The food is delicious. Sometimes the wait is longer but it's completely understandable, it's a popular place for a reason. I really loved the pastelitos y arroz. The food is ???. They should start serving coquito rum for us who are 21+ because that's really traditionally Puerto Rican and delicious. Coquito not on their menu though.I don't know who the tatted waiter was, but wow they hired a handsome guapo guy. Come to Jibaritos if you're proud to be Puerto Rican and Puerto Rican food is life. Even if you're not Puerto Rican, come enjoy the food and I promise you will want to come back.- My 100% honest review- Isabel Mendez

The second you walk in it feels like everyone working is a family! It’s a small cozy restaurant but that doesn’t stop people from coming in with their family as well. Everyone was very kind and attentive. On top of this, the food was delicious! They really pack on the meat with each plate and you’ll definitely leave with leftovers once you’re done. Go try it for yourself!

I’m extremely dissatisfied. It’s not the first, second or third time my order is made incorrectly. I even called the store the very moment I placed the order to have them double check everything is correct before sending it out with a driver. I was reassured everything would be fine but they lied. This will be my last time spending money at this location. I order from here because it’s close to me and is supposed to be more convenient but that’s not the case anymore. I call the store to express my concern and I’m told they can’t do anything about it, to call ubereats. Don’t order from here unless you’re eating at the restaurant!Definitely sticking to jibaritos y mas on Fullerton. It’s 1000% better!

They have a display case of their hot foods like empanadas, pork cuts, and such. I ordered 2 of everything and it was all so delicious. I did have favorites but I don't remember what they were called unfortunately. I do wish they had a take out menu, would be awesome to have.

We are Mexican but love PR food! We live in the far north suburbs, and we're craving PR food.we happened to be in Chicago. I found them on Google and stopped in. We knew by the number of people coming and going, it was gonna be good. Small, CLEAN, and TRENDY location. FAST and FRIENDLY service and the "server" made patient and delicious recommendations! We tasted almost everything!

The food is fresh and great tasting
