This place is convenient and has most things that you would need on an average day. I would say they are always lacking something on my list though. That could also be because of shipping delays lately.
Well, I'm totally bummed now! Their baked goods that sold for $5, are now $6!? How about $5.50?just up it 1dollar?!.., update....I noticed jewel has put their pastry back to $5!! Good news!!! I love their Danish!
As the prices of groceries continue to escalate the quality of produce is rapidly descending. The chain is a Chicago staple. Jewel Foods Do better!Received an incredibly odd response from the chain.........really odd...?
I don't drive and this jewels is a block from my house so I am here constantly and probably spend 100s of dollars a month with that bei g said the staff at self checkout is so rude standing over you like your stealing something with attitudes out of this world like they are the ceo its very demeaning and uncomfortable especially as money as I spend here!
I haven't been able to buy the fried chicken because it's salty. The fruit is probably sitting in the back too long because not all the time its fresh looking produce. Choose carefully. One more thing, it would be helpful to have paper towels available after picking certain green leafy items to dry my hands. It would make my shopping experience more enjoyable.
The self checkout team is a bit extra. I had woman , young African women hurdle over me when checking out fruits , asked me to rescan things I had already scanned, I can tell they were assuming something and although it's a minor misunderstanding because I scan everything! It's a bit rude only because I scan things and I have a rhythm just for someone to seem a bit bored and mistakenly ask me scan things I already did, not fruit, weighted items. So idk they're crowd to much because I'm in and out but they are definitely bored and protective and assume the worst in people and will start scanning your items for you. Again maybe there helping but I get rude bored vibes.
Stop with the racist stuff and being prejudice as a African American woman I can do whatever I want to do I am spending so much investments and money at Jewel Osco and I deserve respect. Three white employees at this jewel were doing dirty stuff and being spiteful towards me and I did nothing wrong stop with it now this is enough this is 2022 and racism should be over one man that is a bagger and white was racist treated me terribly and two other white ladies were awful service one kicked the baskets at me in line and was giving me dirty looks feeling jealous and you should be professional put the emotional stuff aside leave it at the door and be respectful to all customers no matter what race background or ethnicity the customers should leave happy that should be the priority not being in your feelings and then being cunning and conniving towards customers because you are miserable be professional.
Very convenient location walking distance from my job. I can shop real quickly on my lunch hour.
Always a pleasant experience at this Jewel fresh fruits and vegetables fresh deli products always on sale and because I am a person with disabilities I also partake of the delivery service which is quick polite are very very helpful I love the experience at this Jewel
Hey good morning The reason I chose one star because I am a DoorDashDriver Service to customer. Here’s one customer that has 3 items as my tip is $4.00 dollars but when you arrive to the location most of the time it’s NOT 3 items and it will be looking like a Fully grocery order for that amount and also customers doesn’t tip !!!
