The food was excellent! First time trying curry goat, it was fabulous! I loved the cabbage and the chicken was seasoned to perfection.
My favorite Jerk spot, anywhere close to downtown, closed 6 or 7 years ago. I didn't really think that anyone would ever open up another Jerk restaurant close to downtown, where I live. I actually found out about this place because a customer at my work brought it in for our staff. I was blown away with how good the Jerk chicken was. Very authentic, spicy (but just the right spicy) and the sides were great. Since then, I have ordered almost every Friday. So far, I have tried all the mains, except the curry goat (which will get ordered next Friday! ), and everything has been awesome! I call and place my order right when they open, and in the 10 minutes it takes me to drive there, the food is ready to go, every time. The staff is always super friendly and greets you with a smile, which makes the experience so much better. Very glad that someone took the time to open a proper Jerk Joint, in a great neighborhood!
First time trying this place a few weeks ago and the jerk tacos, egg rolls and drinks were very tasty. The jerk sauce for the tacos were very spicy which I love so no complaint there. Will definitely return to try more menu items.
Chicken was horrible maybe old certainly not fresh, rice not fully cooked, cabbage was good but not enough quanity
Omg delish!! Every bite was good and full of flavor, not too much just right. I got the curry and jerk chicken, with beans and rice, vegetables, Mac and cheese with a side of plantains. I can’t wait to get back there!
Is this even considered jerk chicken?! It had nooo jerk flavor. It tasted more like a hot wing. The corn and peppers had a weird taste. I couldn’t even eat it. The cabbage was the only decent tasting item I ordered. This is my first and last time here. It’s a hard pass for me.
The chicken was good, but you all should be ashamed of yourself for charging me $4.95 for 3 slices of sweet potatoes. That's ridiculous!!
U must try the tamales and jerk egg rolls , delish !!
I was visiting from KY and had to find a good Jamaican spot to eat and I was not disappointed. The lady was very nice and accommodating. If I'm ever in the area again I will be back!
Pulled right up to this awesome dive and had help from the owner/workers on what I should order! They were more than willing to give me suggestions of their favorite menu items and the food was so delicious!
