Legit the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Ordered to go, after about 30min went to check on my order and the woman at the front realized she put it in as dine in and said it should take about 5 to 10 minutes. After ANOTHER 30 minutes when I was told my order wasn’t even made yet I said forget the order and said just give me a refund, which was a run around all in itself. No real apology or offer to fix the situation. Would NOT recommend under any circumstances
My daughter and I went for lunch on a Friday afternoon not crowded at all and I know this place can get pretty busy. Our food took a very long time after asking if the is OX tails will take longer our server stated no they come right out I’m thinking okay great well after waiting 20/30 minutes our food arrive the ox tails was the worse I have ever tasted from any restaurant it was swimming in some kind of oil no flavor the mac n cheese was dry I will give them the cabbage they were nice and hot and very good. We didn’t get any bread or jerk sauce we had to request it once our server did come over to check on us . But overall she was very friendly also the water tasted so bad My Daughter had the half chicken and stated it was good and her side was just as good but I will not suggest the ox tails to any one. Maybe the manager will see the review and try to fix the problem. My two star is because the place was clean and our server kept a smile
The food abd music was good but the service was horrible. It took 15 minutes to get drinks and an hour for hour food, then another 5 minutes to get utensils to eat with that we should have gotten beforehand. We asked the waitress to give us separate bills because it was 4 couples . She didn't...she put us all on one bill, was rude, and added a tip on the bill. Then told us it was just easier for her! We choose this place because it was 2 minutes from the concert we were attending, and its black owned. We were late for our event!My thing is.. even though the food came out late, we enjoyed our food, the waitress should NOT have been rude and never checked on us, I ask 3 times for our bill, she continued to ignore us then. When ppl are trying to to support your business, don't have staff that don't understand what it takes to build your business. We were from out of state and visited your business and the person who served us wasn't up to part. And she missed a real good tip from me because I know tips can matter. So too.. bad she missed out on a tip she probably will never get from good customers!
Great food. Great serves. This was my 3rd time eating there in 3 weeks.
I gave this place 2 stares mainly because they sides are always fresh and good. If you put in an order early, you will get the chicken form the day before. The chicken always seem to taste and look old. It is best to go to the location and order. That way you can look or taste it before you leave. I always try to support black owned businesses. This one has a lot to desire, especially with the chicken. I haven't tried anything else. Won't be going back!!, they are too expensive not to be pleased.
This is the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. When we got there we ordered and then after 45 minutes of waiting and several attempts to track down our server for him to tell us they ran out of party wings which we order for an appetizer. And then after waiting, and even asked for a manager several times who never came, another 20 minutes he came back to tell us that they ran out of food, after again trying several times to flag him down because he never came back to our table to check on us. The drinks were nasty and also they served us drinks and red cups and not glasses. The server seemed more concerned & even stated they were focused on a party of about 10 ppl that had bottle service and only ordered 1 bottle. My time was wasted and I will not be going here ever again.
Sunday opening bar tender is Amazing!!! Food was great!
My daughter was sitting for 30 mins w/o service. By the time I arrived to meet her, we decided to take our business to Williams Inn & had a great time. Jerk Villa Waiters have customers waiting fur service. During a previous visit, my food was delivered cold because they leave it sitting out. While waiting on . I hope to see hospitality improvements during another visit.
Food a little salty but good. Nice authentic jerk sauce, Mac and cheese was flavorful and so was the yams, good portions. Cool environment with good music. The only draw back was the service and they take an hour to bring your food.
The food was good but the price is unacceptable. I ordered an oxtail dinner and had 4 drinks. The whole thing cost $95.00. 4 X 9 dollar drinks = $36.00 which is expensive and the oxtail dinner that was listed on the menu as $20.00 but online is listed @ $28.00. That still doesn't come close to the $95.00 bill I received. I will not be back. Oh well.
