What’s sad is they really have excellent portions size and usually amazing food. Not only did I wait over an hour for my food. They gave me spoiled cabbage, unseasoned watered down jerk chicken Alfredo, they did not give me my dessert I paid for and due to several customers who also waited over an hour asking for their food. The demeanor of the staff showed agitation of anger. We all were told our food would take 15 minutes and it took an hour and more just to receive our food. Then they have the nerve to have a sign up saying final sales and no refunds plus a inflation fee. The food already high. Due to the slow service and the hit and miss quality of the food this is why I go there once every blue moon to eat there. It’s sad because i love supporting our people but for $50 plus meals is not worth it at all.
Some of the worst tacos I ever had.. There was taco juice leaking from my bag, tortilla shells also soggy, and the meat was just too salty! Not to mention the cheese didn’t even melt, it was rock hard. It was absolutely terrible, even the egg rolls were salty! I just threw the rest of the order out. Oh, and not to mention the food wasn’t even hot. It’s like they prepackaged it and just grab it from wherever and threw it in the bag (which would explain the liquid oozing from the tacos) just tacky!! This was a waste of money honestly, won’t be patronizing this establishment again.
The food used to be a lot better. I was there this tuesday during a non busy time 11am. It took 52 minutes to get my order, 20 minutes standing at the window to have my order taken another 32 minutes for the order. 2 tacos and a burrito. The girl preparing the food looks as if she doesn't want to be there and couldn't possibly get any slower. I thought this was an isolated incident but the last time I was there got the same service in addition to the food was barely warm the previous time.
This restaurant ripped me off: they sold me in fresh tacos and jerk chicken egg rolls, everything was salty and had a terrible moldy taste, I really hope this placeGoes out of business, I just wasted $30! For nothing! Absolutely disgusting!
1st time here and ordered the chicken, steak, and catfish tacos...very, very good and loved the jerk seasoning - it has a gentle bite that creeps up on you at the end of the taste!!! Will definitely return!
I would have rated this place a 10 out of 5 but since the jerk taco man hasn't been around to make sure the food is on point i gave it a 3. They served half treys cold and more times than often the chicken tacos be burnt. I spent good money supporting black owned business because i know bro when he was doing his thang out west but if he aint there im taking my money on 79th. Sorry bro. Get you peoples they bogus
One 0.5lb jerk chicken taco was split into four tacos! Taco comes with shredded cheese, cilantro and chopped onions.1st pic is how it's served to you. Second pic is one of the four tacos that I split the original taco into (the other 3 we're eaten before pic was taken)! Lot is limited on parking. This isn't fast food, so you'll have to wait a bit longer for food preparation, but it's worth it!
I had the privilege of eating here, and my experience was awesome the food was delicious although service is somewhat slow. Overall, I will go again sometime soon.
Well 5 Stars or 4 depending on your needs /Likes.....Place is C00L, people Cool, parking?, Price options high BUT the amount.of food is UHUUUGE! Like the BOSS says lol! Don't B hAtErS!......couldn't believe how GIANT the amount of steak and the likes go into a taco....looked more like a Birthday Cake! Serious.But shorted them a Star based on the lack of an option. No option for a smaller size. None the less the.place was really cool, food tasted great and very happy. Parking lot is self contained so a safer place to patronize. Likes it!!!?
I love their tacos! The giant jerk chicken taco is a great experience to try at least once. The three regular tacos with lamb or chicken are my favorite!
