I fell in love with Jerk chicken thanks to this spot. Very nice alternative flavors in that jerk paste. Something that hit me as unique and highly flavorful. This was one of my favorite lunch spots when I worked in Pilsen. A treat for sure.

I’m usually not one to leave bad reviews but this meal was terrible. The macaroni taste like it came straight from a box. This picture is after i had it sitting on my desk for 20 mins before i put it in the trash. This is definitely not good jerk and the food needs to be tweaked a lot. The only thing i enjoyed was the donut bread. Chicken was TOUGH and plantains were rubbery. Sorry not sorry i was definitely disappointed in this meal. First and last time ordering from here for sure.

Yo honestly, probably some of the best Jamaican food I've had. I wasn't sure how authentic it was but this plate packed flavor in every bite. Definitely going again next time I'm in Chicago

My new favorite jerk chicken spot in Chicago hands down.Ordered delivery through Grubhub. Handwritten on my bags of food saying thank you for ordering and to have a great day—the little touch really shows they care about customer experience.Food was 10/10- the chicken fell off the bone. I got the smoked jerk chicken quarter combo with both regular mac & cheese and jerk seasoned Mac & cheese, and jerk seasoned fries. I can eat a lot and I saved half for later- definitely worth the $$ and will be ordering again!

You have to stop here for Jamaican when in Chicago. The jerk chicken, wings, jerk mac and cheese and island slaw were incredible. Authentic island flavor slow cooked to perfection. My least favorite was the fries but that was only because everything else was so good. I regret not getting more because there were no leftovers after I ate it up!

So freaking good! Friendly staff, clean and cozy. I had the BBQ Pork sandwich with Jerk Yuca fries. ? perfection

These little lamb chops with no sides 20 dollars... It's supposed to be jerk flavor doesn't even taste like it... And the place does not smell like a real Jamaican spot

5 Stars is not enough to describe how amazing the food is here. Great size portions and the seasonings they use is just! I have eaten from a lot of different jerk style restaurants and I have to say This place is definitely top 3 for me. Great job guys. To bad your location isn't closer to my house but I still travel for it.. Lol

Finally made it in to try after years of saying “we should try that place”. Why didn’t we head in sooner? For starters, the servers at the counter were all super sweet. They answered all of our questions patiently. The interior was super clean and modern feeling. Lots of natural light and very bright. Just lovely. Now, the food. The food was delicious. My friend and I split our food: I got the pulled pork with slaw and jerk mac and cheese. I also got jerk yucca fries on the side. She got the chicken with plantains and Mac and cheese. Both entrees also came with coconut rice and beans and a cornbread fritter. We asked for all 3 sauces (rude girl, jerk BBQ and cilantro lime aioli) plus we got an extra little cup of hot sauce. Literally everything was so good. Yucca fries were nice and crispy on the outside, the chicken and pulled pork were moist, the coconut rice was something I’ll be dreaming about for a while. The sauces were all really good but my favorite was rude girl. Definitely ask for that extra kick of hot sauce, it made the meal!My friend is already asking when we’ll be going again so I guess it’s going to be added to our regular lunch out rotation!

Jamaican approved ? not sure what these other reviews are talking about. I’m always a bit nervous to try Jamaican restaurants but this was so good!!! This is the closest rice and peas I’ve had since moving to America. The Mac and cheese was nice and creamy. Plantain cooked just right. And the chicken was seasoned just enough. I’m happy :) and I will definitely be buying from here again. Thank you for helping me get through finals season ?
