Where should I start? I’ll start with the 2 1/2 hour delivery weight thinking that they were actually cooking the food. I’m the goofy for thinking that turns out when I got it old cold and dry. Chicken old discolored dry uneatable cabbage Not green carrots not orange everything mushy and discolored the best thing was the rice even though it was cold and old as well and dry it was the only thing that could be eaten I’m not eating anything else that was sent I tried to eat the beef patty it was soaked in oil and they had the nerve to forget my Pepsi and my seven up when I needed that to wash this mess down second time trying them will not try again over done with it they need to close down and we need to stop buying it.
My expectation was to have grilled chicken with jerk seasoning. The chicken was very dry and tasted baked with way too much salt. Cabbage could have been called a carrot dish since it tasted more like carrots and the cabbage was mushy. Very disappointed on this place that was highly recommended. I will not return for a second chance with the entire meal not meeting expectations.
Overall pretty good for the price. I ordered a white jerk chicken dinner with green beans and mac. I love mac and cheese so I was looking forward to it. Should’ve went with my gut and passed on it, too creamy not enough cheese. Green beans were good chicken was good but tasted a little dry. Only gave me one sauce that wasn’t all the way filled. Rice and peas was okay. Portions are perfect but would've liked a little bit more green beans. I ordered late about 20 min to closing and the food was still good and warm when delivered! Will try the Alfredo next time I heard that’s what they are known for.
Ordered from this Jerk 48 thinking I would get the same quality as the other locations, but that was not the case. Delivery time was good. The food was piping hot, but not edible. $15.99 for each jerk chicken Alfredo and it was a box full of noodles. No sauce, barely any meat/broccoli. Definitely won’t be wasting my time or money next time.
I was told that the food here was amazing but that was a lie! The chicken was dried out from reheating, cabbage wasn't fresh, sweet potatoes were over cooked and rice and peas just was not right. I had my taste buds set for this meal and it was $33 disappointment. I paid for extra jerk sauce and only received one AND FOOD WAS NOT EVEN WARM AT ALL. Food was not good at all...... BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I WILL NEVER EATVTHERE AGAIN. No stars should have been an option!
Alway a pleasure to stop in, food is great. My daughter loves the shrimp alfredo, and tacos (forgot to take her photo).Food is prepared fresh so be prepared to wait a few minutes for you order depending on your order. If in a rush call ahead and it will be ready when u arrive.
The lady that works at cash register has very nasty attitude. Treat’s people rude and disrespectful and dismissive I came to this restaurant only 2 times and now after receiving such horrible service. I don’t wanna spend my money with them but a friend is selling her cakes in their now and I wanna support came in yesterday for slice of cake and was treated very poorly. Cake good but can’t go back ever. Sorry I can’t support any business that Condones horrible customer service after reading reviews won’t get my money black on business or not sorry jerk 48
Never had curry chicken this oily. Way more oil than curry. It spilled into the sidees and all. The jerk fries were ok but this pic is after I ate the curry chicken. Needless to say I'm done!
The service here is so so could be way better. I don’t blame the food. Just typical upset employees working the counter with no sense of urgency. I give the rating based on the food was not hot and the wait times inside are out of this world.
Jerk 48 is AMAZING!! I highly recommend it.
