Great ice cream! The service is excellent! There is a long line at night (evidence of the good product they sell). They have many options and freshly made waffle cones!
I was so excited to try Jeni's. I have the cookbook and have drooled over the flavors for ages. The actual experience was really disappointing. The ice cream was just okay (honestly some of the flavors were actually quite boring and muted), and the prices were steep. I think we paid something like $6 for a tiny scoop. Not interested in ever coming back.
My favourite ice cream shop in Chicago! There’s always a line up but the ice cream is worth the wait! The service is top notch. The flavours are very fruity and creamy and the waffle cones are fresh made and delicious! I will definitely come back to try out more flavours!
Rich in texture and taste, creamier, flavorful and very delicious ice cream with lots of options. After having a lunch at Velvet Taco, our host recommended for this ice cream and we all had this wonderful ice cream just next door to Velvet Taco.The smell of fresh waffles is so amazing when you enter the shop and overwhelms you and you can’t wait to eat ice cream. It was not busy at that time. The staff was courteous and let us taste couple of flavors. The prices seem reasonable, may be little bit on higher side, but worth it.We tried different flavors and all of them were incredible. Even lactose-intolerant people also can enjoy here as there are many non-dairy flavors for them too.After all of the hype around for Jeni’s ice cream, I wanted to try it out. And it really deserves full credit for this heavenly ice cream. I will definitely try on every occasion wherever I find it.
Great and delicious ice-cream options with many great and different flavors. The waffle cone is also very crunch and definitely worth checking out.Perfect place to have dessert in this area after a nice meal someplace else.
refused to swap out flight flavors for nut-free options when I said I was allergic to nuts. I tried to get regular scoops then got charged extra for an “allergy scoop” I just did not want any nut flavored ice creams.
We got the Rainbow Frozen Yogurt, Wild berry lavender ice cream, honey vanilla, bramble berry ice cream. Another good thing about the ice cream shop is the fact that their waffle bowls and cones are very fresh... You can see the person making it as you walk down the line. They also give you up to 1 sample per flavor. The Rainbow Frozen Yogurt was an explosion of flavor. The Rainbow Frozen Yogurt was one of the best frozen desserts I ever had. Definitely recommend.. open till midnight.
