Great place to grab a bite to eat while in Jefferson Park. Conveniently located within bus/train station...however not really good parking options and absolutely do NOT park behind the restaurant in the little lot or you will get towed. I've been here more times than I can count and the food is always fresh, hot and tastes great. There are always daily specials, as well as two soup offerings. Several breakfast and lunch options that ensure you'll satisfy your cravings!
I love this place! they are super nice and friendly; It feels like we've known each other for years. The place always very clean!. The lady who serves customers is very nice, as is the owner of the place. Congratulations, I wish all people were like you.

This diner is a Mom and Pop establishment that makes some delicious meals. One of the cooks is a chef and her soups are amazing. My favorite is her Cabbage Soup. They make up stuff for me that's not on the menu, like Grilled Cheese and Bacon on Rye (Yum!), and Deconstructed Double Bacon Cheese Burgers (for when I need to buy something now but eat it later). They go out of their way to make their customers happy. And the portions for the prices are extremely generous. The staff is extremely friendly. The restaurant is cleaned frequently. If you are in the mood for some good food, some comfort food, or something tasty, come here.
