All I can say is that Jeff’s is the place for Chicago staples. Very reasonably priced. Good service, and big portions. Get the gyro special. Good stuff!!!!
Place is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall but I love it. They slightly steam their hotdogs buns so the buns are soft and warm, perfect! Between my son and I we had 2 hotdogs, single cheeseburger, 2 orders of small fries and 2 small drinks for $18. Can you imagine the cost of that same meal at Portillos, lol - would need to take out a bank loan for that. Food here is better as well.Jeff's Red Hots does take credit card despite what some reviews say, so this might be a new feature. The service charge is pricey but only a $1. My son was entertained by the toy train running and mounted overhead in the dining area. We will be back.
I love the hot dogs: great flavor! The bun was fresh and tasty as well. They have many other options in their menu.Friendly service. This place is CASH ONLY (they have an ATM tho).
Jeff's red hots is forever going to be the best place on Cicero Ave to grab a hot dog. Burgers, gyros, pizza puffs french fries. They have it all. Get yourself an Italian beef. Just paid $10 for 1 hot dog cheese fries & small drink, already far too steep. Plain and simply, This hot dog was nasty. The meat was chewy and gummy as if it was sitting there for days, foul. The tomatoes were straight white & green in the middle, while the hot peppers were also the texture of leather. This was really disappointing and frankly just unacceptable. If you’re charging $10 for hot dogs have the decency to use ingredients not sitting out for however many days. Really gross, unethical & health hazard.
always good food and I'm glad they now accept zelle for payment cause I don't always carry cash .

Food is good but the place is too small and you can't keep your distance from others and it is cash only ?
This place is nostalgic for me. I lived a couple blocks away from this place in highschool and i remember going here allot in my teen years for hot wings. Still as good as i remembered. I will forever continue to come here whenever i get a chance. Great service every time.
