Had been craving a good pastrami/ corned beef sandwich for a while and finally made it to JB's Deli in Andersonville. Ended up getting the "My cardiologist needs a new car" sandwich. Pastrami, brisket, and corned beef with cole slaw and melted swiss between 3 slices of marbled rye and a side of pickles. Washed it all down with a diet Dr Pepper. Success.
The Lox platter was excellent but they forgot our bagels. We bought bread there though so we made due.
Very good Jewish deli with oversized sandwiches. Staff is always very pleasant. Great for a to-go lunch but they have a cool and cozy seating area in the back. I need to give their breakfast a try next trip.
No ingredients on the food, no knowledge about the ingredients. Not interesting to find out and no interest in my allergies. I understand it is annoying but it was not busy so they could have tried. The least thing is they should know the ingredients.if you can eat anything the food looks ok. All furniture covered in plastic. Tacky.
A little pricey, but worth it! I got the Rachel Reuben, and it was easily enough food for 2 meals. It came with a small cup of pasta salad that I equally enjoyed.

I caution ordering delivery from this restaurant. We ordered soup and sandwiches through GrubHub and got an estimated delivery time of nearly 1.5 hours. The delivery didn’t show, so we contacted GrubHub (restaurant was closed) and received a full refund/ordered from a new restaurant. 15 minutes later, the food showed up cold. Disappointing experience, because it actually was good food.
I had one of the best reuben sandwiches here! Their corned beef is so good! I definitely encourage stopping in here and getting a sandwich!
Stopped in for the first time and the staff was super friendly and very helpful in picking something to order. The food was fantastic, and I loved the outdoor seating for the warm day.
Best deli on the North side and it can definitely run the race for best in the city. Amazing sandwiches.
