Unique restaurant with awesome food!
Went tonight on a whim being next door to Rush and the food was amazing. The taco selection is great with sides of yummy sauces to boot. The salsa and pico was on point not to mention the flavored lemonade. You won’t be disappointed.
The best Pastor Tacos I've taste so far. Most places don't include the pineapple, which is a shame. And at the moment, is the only place I know serves Cochinita Tacos; amazing taste this tacos have, be careful it's very spicy (Hot). Their Hibiscus Lemonade it's really good.CONS - I can't recommend you the Birria Tacos because I already know another place with better ones. The ones that were served to me didn't have enough cheese on it. The flavor was good, but the cheese is $3 dollars more, not worth it. I was expecting melting cheese on every BITE. That didn't happened. Other places don't offer you pricey cheese.I hope they'll be able to offer a wide range of protein options. Birria Tacos are messy, that's good, but cheese has to be enough to make you feel nasty, and bad for your diet.Hope this review helps you.
I love it and I would recommend everyone to come and enjoy a great Taco they are very good and I love there flower tortilla I felt like I was eating at my mom houses when she would cook me Mexican tortillas...
First time here, and it was a pain getting to the area, let alone parking. They are in very close proximity to Rush University Medical Center, so you can imagine the traffic and difficulty navigating the area.I came at about 5 pm, so it was pretty lonely (at least inside the food court). I ordered Guacamole & Chips as well as a Quesadilla Grande de Tinga. The tortilla had a unique taste that added great flavor to the overall quesadilla. The Tinga had an okay flavor but was salty. Their salsas were okay, and only one was actually spicy. The guacamole was okay but it needed more flavor. I asked for some lime to add flavor to the guacamole, which made it much better. To drink I had an Agua de Pepino, which was delicious. You can tell it is freshly made. I also tried their agua de Horchata, which was also very delicious. Their aguas frescas really saved this place.I also got to try the tacos Al Pastor. Look, it is a family tradition to make a taquiza every New Years of different meats like Suadero, Longaniza, Lengua, Cabeza and obviously al Pastor. I have never in my life had a sweet al Pastor taco. This taco was sweet but the meat had no flavor and it was a little tough. The tortilla was hard and dry, nothing like the bomb tortilla on my quesadilla. Just not what I expected from a taco Al Pastor. I couldn’t even blame it on a busy restaurant because it was lonely while I was there, but a lot of things were not right, especially with their price point. I genuinely only recommend their aguas frescas.
Good tinga de camaron y pollo a needs lil more spice & warm the tortillas up a Lil more. By the time I sit dwn to eat them the tortillas cold & falls apart.
I went with my cousin for a brunch experience and was surprised that tacos were $4.50 each on average. They were well worth it. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The tacos were delicious and I'll definitely be back for more. They were large and tasty.
Bomb a$$ birria tacos, definitely wish they were a bit cheaper but still delicious
yes their Food is EXCELLENT and the Salsa is SOOO Good..
We catered in the taco bar for a group of 25, and WOW we were blown away!! The quality and the flavors were unreal, and we are obsessed with the elote!! I definitely recommend Jarabe for an easy and tasty build-your-own lunch for big groups! We'll definitely order again. :)
