I stopped in today for the first time after passing by and grabbed a “darn good burger”. I’m pregnant and burgers have been my jam lately. This burger was definitely THR best one i’ve had in months. The dijon/mayo blend is *chefs kiss*. the flavor was so great. not only was the food good but the staff is super friendly. it’s very very clean and they play good jams. I can’t wait to go back.
I picked up a sandwich two months ago and met with the owner. Very tasty. I got the pork and greens, light on seasoning, broccolini was bitter as it should be, and the calabrian mayo was rich, complementing the fresh bread.Owner supports local, too. Looking forward to my next visit
I ordered a sandwich and showed up when I was told it would be ready. They had not even started the order. They were rude and said I could cancel the order if I want. Avoid this place.Edit: in response to what you wrote - Yes, I was there to pick up a delivery but I don’t understand how that invalidates my experience. I did not make any claims about the quality of the food. I provided a review concerning the service - which was poor. After I had already waited 5-10 minutes (Bc I was told the order was being prepared) the the gentleman behind the counter told me it hadn’t been started and I should cancel the order. He was dismissive which I found disrespectful and rude. All of this is true and I feel it is fair to post along with your other reviews.Untrue, however, is your claim that I was so rude to your employee that it “will not be forgotten.” I’m sure my displeasure with the situation was visible but I did not utter a single unkind word to said employee and I definitely had no interaction with your customers. When you publicly posted a dishonest response to my review in an attempt to discredit it/me, were you taking your own advice and “considering kindness”?(Please to any readers - take a look at my account. In the 10+ years I have had this same google account I have never felt compelled to leave a single negative review before this. Thank you.)
Well this was an amazing find. Steak sandwich was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try all the other choices.
The food is outstanding! Tried the Ham and Cheese sandwich it was excellent. The pork loin sandwich was phenomenal! Also tried the fried Pickles and French fries equally as good. Chris made it a truly pleasant experience. Can't wait to go back. Hopefully I'll be very soon
Awesome lunch today from J.T's. The quality of the meat is awesome. Had the steak and potato sandwich, which I highly recommend. My wife loved the fried chicken sandwich. I also recommend the pork tenderloin sandwich, which I've had before. Fried pickles were delish as well. One of the best sandwich shops in the Irving Park neighborhood. Support this local business!
While my quest for a good build-your-own sammie spot continues, I'm delighted to have stumbled across this gem in my search. I opened with the pork and greens, but am eager to go back and eat my way through their entire menu. Not only was it utterly delectable, but the super thoughtful employee actually ran my food out to the car for me. (I hadn't known enough to order ahead and the kitchen was kinda slammed, so after I popped in the front door a few times to check whether it was ready, he asked what car I was in to save me the trouble!)Amazing food, super gracious staff, can't wait to give them more of my money.
Fast service and friendly faces. The roasted turkey sandwich is unbelievably delicious!
My go to every time I want good fries and an amazing burger. The best part is the sauce that comes with the fries, it’s so flavorful!
I got yelled at for coming without a mask by accident earlier for a pickup order, simple mistake on my part but really rude from the staffs end. I dont mind wearing masks at all and I easily went back home and got one,but I don't appreciate being yelled at for a simple mistake that could've been fixed without attitude.I will not be coming back because this restaurant doesn't know how to handle simple situations and mistakes without attitude.
