I typically don't write reviews, but we had a wonderful experience here. Food was quick and so amazing. But the customer service was top notch. Our server was so kind, and as we walked out, the guy working the door nearly ran out the door after us to Thank us and wish us a good night. You just don't get that anywhere these days. Highly recommend.

If I can give zeros stars I would. Don’t come on Sundays if you want a chill Jamaican meal. I’m so disappointed; the waitress took our order around 6-630 only 2 things of our orders came out and it was almost 9pm (yet the owner was walking out with plates)! They also charged a 10 cover charge to sit and eat because it was a “party”…… I loved this place because it reminded me a lot of my trips to Jamaica but now it seems like they just want to turn this into another regular spot.

When I tell you that their oxtail delivered, IT DELIVERED! I mean come on!!!! I have cravings for it all the time and once you try it, you will too! This was prepared to perfection and more. They did not miss beat, a step, a season, NOTHING! Ok, let me calm down and review....Ordered the oxtail, beef patty, rice & beans, cabbage and a cocktail! 10/10 from myself and and my belly! Please do your taste buds a solid and swing by there to experience it for yourself.Service as well was super fast, friendly, funny and very accommodating! To be honest, this must have been one of the best Jamaican places I have had. If you don't believe me, go try it yourself.Sincerely,My Taste Buds

The food was great, the wait time is absurd. We were waiting over an hour for common food orders such as “rice and peas”, “Mac n cheese”, “stewed chicken”, etc. The fact that we have to pay for extra hours of parking just to accommodate the slowness of the food preparation process, doesn’t sit well with me. Also, I came to dine with 8 people and only 6 people got their food after waiting an hour and a half, then the remaining two waited for two hours to get our food. I will never dine at this restaurant again.

Some of the best Jerk Chicken I have ever had….. sides were great as well!!! Make sure you order extra Jerk Sauce, it’s delicious and I ran through mine…..There was a party when I picked up my food….. vibe seemed dope and music was at the perfect volume and I felt welcomed…. wish I could have stayed and enjoyed the atmosphere….(Edit: my carry out order took ten minutes from the time I ordered in and out the door)

Workers are slow and unprofessional. Too expensive for the amount of food that they give you. Over crowded. No where to sit. Terrible experience. would not recommend

In my opinion food is too high but the rum punch was good the beef patty was great waiting on the food was horrible

I ordered a 1/4 chicken with mac n cheese and yams. The food was fresh and steaming ♨️ hot. I actually ate my food so fast I forgot to take a picture. The service was awesome.I highly recommend this place for Jerk chicken

My First time at this place & it will be the last time. I’ve been seeing this place floating around on social media so me and my girls decided that we was going to give them a try. I arrived at 9:13 exact I walked through the door and was lost. No one greeted me wait staff walking right by me. After a few minutes I finally asked one staff what do I do? It’s my first time here do I put my name down for a table and he said no he don’t do that and walked away. Around 9:30 I finally found a table no one came to clean it off I had to clean it off myself. So now I’m ready to order and the wait staff told me they was doing no specials because it was too busy(false advertisement). So I said okay let me look at the menu but I’ll take a run punch she go get the rum punch in 5 mins comes back I say I’m ready now. SHE TELLS ME THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED!!!! It’s only 10:00pm The worst experience I’ve ever had. Then once my friends arrive a boy came to our table and insisted we give him $5 a person because it was his party. The owner was everywhere the service was terrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING ON A TUESDAY

Came here for my birthday and this is the best, most authentic carribean food in Chicago hands down. If you come, I’d definitely recommend the rice, Mac n cheese, jerk chicken and cabbage. That’s what I got and it was AMAZING and my family’s food looked great too! Great food, great service and great atmosphere
