Absolutely amazing! Dedicated gluten free and so much more delicious than any grocery store gluten free food we’ve tried or even any other bakery for that matter. Will definitely be ordering from here again. The owners are such kind and knowledgeable people as well! So happy to have found a place for my daughter who has celiac. xoxoxoxo

i'm not the review-writing type but i felt the need to share bc wow, ingrained way surpassed my expectations (which, as i've been eating allergy-friendly/gf/vegan have been pretty low for a while lol). i was bracing myself for something kinda-sorta edible but i was actually blown away by how good everything was--i got a cinnamon roll and a flatbread and they were both perfectly textured, had great flavor and were super filling. i have no complaints! well worth the price in my opinion. the only thing i might suggest is nut-free options if that's a possibility, i didn't have an issue with the almond flour in the baked goods but it would be nice to have the option available for those who need it. thank you for serving underserved communities with great food! :)

I enjoyed my first take out experience at ingrained. The blueberry crisp raw bar is deluctable and yummy. If people visit during the week, the best time to visit would be before 3pm since traffic is very minimal during that time frame. I would recommend this place if you have gluten, dairy and egg allergies and want a quick take out snack from River North neighborhood.

Can’t believe I found this place in Chicago. Best clean vegan desserts I’ve ever had and I’ve been baking, eating and searching for raw, vegan, clean desserts for over a decade! They’ve cracked some codes here for sure. Get the raw bars!!! They don’t disappoint. Awesome treat option for ppl who love sweets but want a healthier option. Only wish is that they had raw bars made with xylitol, monk fruit, stevia/ etc ( or even honey/ maple) instead of coconut sugar but still fabulous.

I have to say that the cinnamon walnut caramel pretzel apple bread was absolutely freaking phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. It’s by far the best thing I’ve tried there and also one of the best vegan/ gluten free baked goods I’ve ever tried in my life. I couldn’t even believe it was gluten free and vegan. It was so good and moist and flavorful that I couldn’t wait until i was home to eat the rest and i scarfed it down in my car. The only thing I’m disappointed with is that I didn’t buy 5 of them and that it’s limited edition!!! I am almost absolutely obsessed with their raw bars and I check almost every day to see what new flavors they have. A bit pricy but good

Yesterday's left out oatmeal will taste better, have the same texture, and be $15 cheaper.

The bars are fun and look nice but I often feel like the flavors are a real hit or miss. I think this is partly due to the naming which can recall specific flavors that taste nothing like the bar such as the butterfinger bar which just tasted like a no bake cookie but nothing like a butterfinger. The bars are also very expensive so it is more disappointing when the bar does not taste very good.

I can't say enough good things about Ingrained. I discovered this gem about a year ago and ever since, I have been hooked. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcomed. They are very helpful in explaining the variety of options they offer as well. The descriptions on the raw bars are spot on (my new favorite... Strawberry Poptart!) The cookies are to die for. Their shop is SUPER clean too. The owners truly have a love for what they do and it shows through and through. I think this place needs to be included in every Chicago round-up of, "places you MUST visit when in Chicago." My family makes me bring them buttery oats when I fly back to Colorado. Okay... I could go on and on but in short, VISIT THE SHOP ASAP!

Obsessed! I have been to many plant based bakeries around the world, and this is my all time favorite. I had seen their gorgeous photos online and finally had the chance to check out ingrained last week during a trip to Chicago. Ordered an assortment of sweet and savory items for my family and everyone was completely obsessed. Loved meeting the lovely owner Sydney and was so impressed with her incredibly creative style and thoughtful approach to ingredients. We tried so many amazing things, but I think our favorites were the cinnamon bun (unreal!) and the seasonal specials (Sydney recommended a chocolate/mint/spirulina cake and ube snickerdoodle cashew cookies). You can't go wrong with any choices here - they are all insanely delicious! Thanks to the ingrained team for such a lovely experience. Can't wait to go back again on our next trip to Chicago!

Some of the greatest vegan snacks ever! I'm so happy I live down the block from this place, I can't get enough of their raw bars and have purchased too many to count at this point. Their flatbreads are great too!People leaving criticizing reviews question the prices yet fail to take into account that this is a small business that doesn't cut corners when it comes to the ingredients put into their food. Being health conscious is a priority of theirs and it completely shows! I love being able to satisfy my sweets cravings without the guilt. Also, I can eat an entire flatbread, a raw bar and a peanut butter cup of theirs without my stomach upsetting me afterwards. It's great.Support a locally owned business and see what the rave's all about! You will NOT be disappointed.
