If you're looking for a slightly upscale sushi bar in Edgewater, you can officially stop looking. Indie is a great restaurant with excellent food, and plenty of indoor and outdoor dining. I would highly recommend people to visit Indie. And it's important to note that even if you don't like sushi, they have a ton of great noodle dishes!

Good for the price. I got the poke bowl (B+) and crab rangoons (A). If you live in Edgewater you should check out Indie Bar. Would love to come back and try the Thai.

Excellent food...we had 10 people (4 adults, 6 kids). We ordered gyoza, crab rangoon, orange chicken, pad Thai, ramen, sushi (dragon roll, rainbow roll, avocado roll, california roll), basil chicken, coconut glazed pork and edamame. Food was awesome. We brought home left overs but there wasn't much! Definitely get the gyoza and crab rangoon. They were perfection.Service wasn't great. The server was friendly, excellent memory, but they got busy after we ordered so she pretty much disappeared. We needed napkins, water refills, and chopsticks but she never came back so we had to get napkins and chopsticks ourselves. They added gratuity to our check which, as a former server I totally understand, but it was extremely generous for the service we received (yes, we paid it and did not argue).Would definitely eat here again, but just order take out.

We had 2 rolls and one appetizer and the house sake, everything was presented beautifully and tasted really fantastic but it was a little bit pricey the bill was $65.

I really like the consistency that Indie offers. It’s always the same delicious food. I haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. The people here are always lovely, and they don’t make you feel rushed. I’m not one to sit around too long so I opt for takeout— which is always perfectly packaged and searing hot.

Place was amazing. Sashimi was delicious. If you're in the mood for sushi and Ramen, this is the place. Pricey but good.

This is one of the best restaurants in Edgewater. I’ve literally eaten here 100 times since they opened years ago. Not one time was a disappointment. Friendly service, delicious food, beautiful plating, this is our go-to Thai/Japanese spot, gem for everyone.

Was told this place had a great crab ragoon but it was average at best. Terrible service here. I told the waitress it was our 1st time there, expecting her to suggest something off the menu but she literally just stared at me for 10 seconds. Ok....There was no one in the restaurant except my wife & I when I needed another drink. There was no one to be found. I had to go in the kitchen to get the waitress. When I finished my meal, the waitress asked if I was done. I said yes thinking she would just take my plate. She took my plate & handed me the check.I said we would like to get a dessert. She said, I thought you said you were done & stared at me for another 10 seconds.I didn't know what to say. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I went a 2nd time yesterday and parts of the food was cold. I'm wondering if it's not made to order. The potatoes were cold. It was good though but disappointing. I had left overs and heated them up. Service was ok.

The food is good but service needs some serious attention. I dined with a female friend who was completely ignored by the waitress to the point that she stood in front of her while asking me what I would have. Another time, a baby screamed the entire time we tried to eat, and after several complaints were lobbied, the management said there was nothing they could do. One patron finally walked up to the mentally absent parents and told them to shut up the kid or leave; they left while staring at their phones. The menus have been replaced with the phone app menu which I hate, but that's just me.
