If there is zero star I will give zero star. We came in early morning. We were excited to try their dim sum. We got the seats right away. We ordered our foods before other tables were there but we didn’t get our dim sum but other tables came in later than us got their dim sum before us. That isn’t the worst. The worst part was the server give our dim sum to the table behind us and later the table behind us realized they didn’t order the dim sum. The server bring the same dim sum to us. I told the server she should discard the dim sum because it isn’t sanitize anymore. We paid and leave.
Service was not pleasant, but the food made up for it. Highly recommend the pork and shrimp siu mai, beef tripe with ginger and onion, pan fried pot stickers, and mango pudding dessert. Great food portions, but wish the staff were friendlier
Decided to visit this place on Christmas day. Ordered food, it all came at different times. Waited over an hour for an appetizer, end up canceling the orderbecause they sat us on the corner and totally forgot about us. Horrible service, under staff, they don't speak English because I spoke to several people about my order and they did not understand a word! All they said is that they were too busy. Obviously, but dang!! Really?! They didn't even pick up our plates, we had to put them on another table. Disappointing, they did not care a bit. Never going there again!!
Food was awesome and this is why I gave it three stars. Guess this justified the horrible service(?) It seems it was our fault to be here to bother them.1. Had to wait for 15 mins to be waited. Front desk treated us as invisible when she showed up and the only thing she did was bring ppl in the queue in. Basically, she showed up, saw us, ignored and left without saying anything.2. When I went to the men's room, there was an employee coming out who opened the door abruptly and he almost hit me. He didn't bother saying anything leaving me feel it was my fault because I wanted to use the men's room.3. We didn't know who our server was throughout the meal. After seated, no one cared to take our order. We had to bring order to whoever in front of the computer to get the order in. When done, we waited for 30 mins but no one showed up, we had to get our to-go boxes and packed the food ourselves.4. When we started packing left-overs, someone finally showed up but she was there to clean the table for the next group. This led to our only conversation we had with an employee. We were told "you can pay here".From the internet we learnt the owner of this restaurant said "we don't want to earn money only, but we want to improve the impression people have about Chinese reataurants". Based our first experience, we honestly feel this is irronic.
The BEST dim sum around! I've been to Colorado, Wisconsin, Nevada, California and Hawaii for dim sum and I still come back here! Large menu and the food comes out fast. Please make sure to try the Taro buns and fried sticky rice dumpling, with EXTRA chili oilTheirs is the best! I make sure to come at least a few times a year!
I went here to celebrate a friends wedding and we were served 12 dishes. 1) amazing that the restaurant was able to serve THIS much food to about 100 ppl 2) great wait staff 3) the food itself wasn’t amazing. While the restaurant itself was such a good time bc of the whole 12 course experience, I wouldn’t come back to eat here myself. The food fell short in flavor and texture. Some dishes were over cooked and some dishes were just over powering in the sense of a lot of the dishes just tasted the same lol . Overall, I had a fun experience and I was there to celebrate my friend and the restaurant did that perfectly.
Dining here was comfortable. The quality of the food maintained the high standard as before, which is rare among Chinese restaurants during pandemic. We ordered the set courses for six people. All dishes were good and the portion was great.
You got to get the Beijing duck wraps! They personally cut the duck for you by the table and it all very fresh and warm, perfect for the duck and sauce and pancake wrap to melt in your mouth! Everything was tender with the taste of authentic Chinese food (of course if you can order right?).
One of my go to dim sum place whenever I am in Chinatown. Food is good and is consistent most of the time. Very friendly service but can be a little slow during very busy hours.
The chicken was strangely not quite cold and not hot but it tasted good! There was also the odd addition of peanuts to our fried sticky rice but overall we enjoyed our meal. Pea tips in broth with egg was nice.
