The overall taste was ok, not the best, but the thing that made me give them 2 stars is that they don't have a shawarma when it comes to chicken, they just grill the chicken and cut it into very thick peices and sell it as chicken shawarma, man common its grilled chicken not shawarma, don't sell it as shawarma say that you have grilled chicken.
I went to IDOF with a friend who has been there many times. I got the chicken shwarma wrap and then we drove home. The food was THE BEST quality, taste and reasonable price, and made for an excellent dinner. I will go back and highly recommend to anyone in the area to go there and enjoy!
The food is great but very small portions for the price you pay, have been to way better tasting places with much bigger portions. Some of the staff is very rude and watch when you pay was charged a tip and didn't notice till I got home and looked at the receipt. I don't give tips to people that are rude.
Ordered lentil soup. On my way home I started eating the bread and I noticed the texture was very doughy, and tasted a undercooked. Once I got home I looked at it closer and noticed it looked raw but I confirmed that it was raw once I smelled it. It reeked like raw flour or dough. The soup also tasted and looked like they had ran out and just mixed in water. I’ve eaten here before and enjoyed the soup and the bread but this experience has completely put me off.
The food is absolutely incredibly good. I had just a regular gyro with fries and my wife had the salad with chicken. The food portions are plenty and the meat is tender and really tasty. We definitely will be going back. I just wish I lived a little closer.
Very rude staff went in today to pick up Uber order two ladies working in there did not speak and did not even acknowledge that I was even there only to wait 15-20 mins only for one lady to ask me was the order I was picking up was the one she was preparing I said no the order I was picking up was already ready at the counter very unpleasant experience hope I never get a delivery here again no way to treat anyone last but not least once a white lady came in they both greeted her and asked was she ready to order....Wish I could give 0 stars to this place.....Update since I made this review they gave me a bad review on my account all for being honest
Worst Mediterranean food I ate in the Chicago area. If you are looking good Mediterranean take out, try Habibi Inn in Evanston or maybe Naf Naf Grill, but not this place.
They put very little protein on the plate, I was very dissatisfied
They should rename this restaurant WDOF for wet dreams of falafel. Because that's how much I love this place. Falafel plate with rice and red pepper hummus. All. Day.
We love some fresh, quick mediterranean food. Try the plate and make it up however you like and enjoy a side of falafel to top it all off.
