I love this space for its elegance and relaxed-atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to rest after a lot of walking and eating. I got the rose tea latte with macadamia milk. The latte is mildly sweet but nowhere near overpowering. The pop of pink is also a sight for wonder. Overall, I’m very happy for the spur of the moment stop at this lovely place.
I took a friend for her birthday to the private tea session and it was amazing. She is a avid tea drinker and I love tea as well so we throughly enjoyed the experience. Luke was amazing and we had such a great time learning with him. He is very knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable for the amount of tea and the experience you get overall. You also get a few little snacks that are locally sourced which was a nice touch. The place is very zen and everyone that worked there was so friendly! I highly recommend stopping by for the private session or even just to have a cup of amazing tea!

I have been following Hugo Tea Space on Instagram for a while and I finally got a chance to go there this past weekend. We got the individual tea session and it was amazing. Everything from the service to the decor to the taste and experience was amazing. Will definitely go back.
Had a wonderful experience with the gongfu session. Downs was an absolute delight, covering our tea tasting seamlessly without notice due to a staffing snafu. They were knowledgeable about everything from flavor profiles through each variety’s history, and funny to boot. Would absolutely recommend and will be back!
Wow! This is such a gem! The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and downright fun. We had the pleasure of having Sidra as our teatender / guide for the gongfu tea service. She was very patient and helpful as we selected what teas we wanted to experience. She was also a wealth of knowledge on each of the different teas as well as the process as a whole. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, perfect for the calming and sensory experience that is a well run tea ceremony.They also have adorable tea pets that join you for the session. Additionally, if you’re looking for a forever tea pet they have a nice selection of reasonably priced options available for purchase. I left with the adorable pumpkin frog!I highly recommend visiting Hugo Tea Space for a sit down session. It is a great way to slow down and enjoy spending quality time with a friend or partner. I will definitely be coming back!
I loved my experience at Hugo Tea Space! My friend and I spent hours here for a gongfu session, and our tea guide Sidra made the experience memorable and special! So many tea options, you even get to select a tea pet to join you for your session! Sidra was also incredibly knowledgeable about all the teas and had recommendations for everything we were interested in. The snacks were delicious and the experience felt so authentic. Pricing was very reasonable and definitely worth the time and money spent. I definitely want to return and highly recommend this shop if you want a relaxing and fun sensory experience.
Amazing tea, amazing atmosphere, amazing service! Everything about this place was great, it's a wonderful place to experience some Chinese and Japanese teas in the city. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable!
We were a party of 4. We came in at noon on a Sunday. We experienced the Gongfu tea session led by Matthew. It was interesting to watch how the tea is served and Matthew was warm and answered our questions about the process. It started to get pretty busy, but our server was still able to keep up with us though he and the others had to tend to the now full tea house. You have the tea pets(you choose at the beginning) to keep you company, along with the rest of your party when things are busy between each steeping. We enjoyed a green Jasmine Bai Hao, oolong Champagne Long Kou, and a tisane Chrys. I highly recommend the Champagne, and honorable mention for the Chrys. This would be a great date spot or a place to stop by for a nice hot drink to go.
Relaxed, serene environment to savor some tea and try something new. Make sure not to miss the tea snacks -- especially the mango mousse. Also a great place to purchase boxed loose-leaf tea, which makes a nice gift.
