Eat here every time we visit Chicago. Oyster happy hour is the best. We always sit at the bar and service is exceptional. Greg was our bartender this visit and he was attentive and personable. We had the crab cake, soft shell crab, and shrimp….all appetizer orders. All of them were delicious. Very busy and popular place.
First time trying Hugo's and will definitely be back. Great service starting from the hostess to our waiter. Made a reservation and even if I couldn't select outdoor seating they accommodated my family and I. I was also celebrating my birthday and they brought out a dessert on the house. Everything we got was delicious!
Hugo’s consistently delivers very good food and drinks at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service always top . The martinis are especially good. This is a well managed operation.

Oysters and Filet were excellent. The Shrimp was very good. The Lobster tail was just average. There was nothing wrong with it, it was just not as fresh as the oysters and shrimp. The service was slow but hospitable. The drinks were also very good.
Very nice Restaurant in downtown. Food was amazing. Nice selection of wines, beer and cocktails. Service was amazing! I had salmon, a side of mushrooms and a side of creamy rice. One side is enough for 2.
