The food portions are good and the waffles taste really good.Regarding the ambiance: the patio is quite small but cute. It's not spacious so you can overhear each other's conversations. The servicing is great! The staff is very amicable and can strike good conversations.Overall a good experience!
Looking for your new favorite brunch spot? You just found it in Rogers Park. This local family owned gem serves up huge portions that turn heads when your order comes to the table! We tried the Banana Crunch Pancakes and the house special Mi Casa Skillet. As seasoned brunchers we even had to take food home! Great value that you don’t see these days, especially in Chicago! The vibes are also on point! If the charming outside facade doesn’t draw you in, the vibrant decor on the inside will. Our favorite part? The service! We even chatted with the owner while visiting about the restaurant’s recent success and her love of the neighborhood ❤️
We are visiting our daughter in Rogers Park, and she suggested Honeybear for breakfast. The service was excellent; our coffee cups were refilled regularly, which was wonderful! My husband had the country omelet and was very satisfied with it. I had the churro french toast special which was outstanding! We hope to visit this lovely and lively spot again before we leave. Highly recommend Honeybear!
I took my sister here for her birthday. I had the steak and eggs with apple butter pecan pancakes. The food and the ambiance was amazing. The servers were great and attentive. If your ever in the Roger's Park area this is definitely the place for breakfast or brunch. I would have given them 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if I could.
Very pleasant customer service, if they don’t get something right they would fix it for you without hesitation. Lots of food per order. We enjoy the place. A little crowded at certain times and tables to close to each other, but otherwise it’s decent. I’ll definitely keep going.
Delicious food and incredible service. The staff is very professional and nice.I highly recommend making reservations especially if you’re going on a weekend. We had to wait over 50 minutes for a table, but it was worth it, huge portions too. There’s parking behind the restaurant for free, if it’s full there’s plenty of street parking
Great food, great service…..definitely worth the drive.
if you're looking for a small breakfast, avoid Honeybear. The menu is extensive and the platters are large. The service is pretty darn good
It was our first time here today and I’m so happy we came. This place was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The beef barley soup was homemade and delicious. My husband got the strawberry shortcake pancake upgrade to his Greek omelet and both were mouthwatering. Our waitress was prompt and incredibly nice. The place was decorated from top to bottom for St. Patrick’s Day ☘️ which made it festive and fun. I can’t say enough good things about it! Prices are also very reasonable and portions are big! HIGHLY recommend! :)
My partner and I went for brunch this last weekend and had a wonderful time. I got the sloppy skillet, she got the chicken fried chicken skillet, and we got a banana Nutella crepe to share. What shocked me was the portion size we ate leftovers for two more meals, delicious and filling. The only negative I have, which isn't really their fault, is that our wait was about an hour and a half, which probably could have been avoided if we had called ahead, but they did tell us 45 minutes and we ended up waiting double that. Would have appreciated a better estimate, but if you want to go call ahead first
