Wonderful staff, food and music! We went here for my friend Laura's birthday & had a great time!

One of the last great German restaurants in Lincoln Square. This is a must-visit if you want any of the old German comfort foods. Prices are reasonable, the beer selection is expansive, and the environment is fun. Make a stop!

Great neighborhood place! Celebrated our 8th grade class. Staff was very accommodating. Good food! Homemade bread was delish!

This is a unique idea. They are pairing the experiences and cuisine of both Italian and German food. While they are not usually parrot in the same dish it is a nice variety. They even have pizza, but it is on the wine menu, so don't forget to look for it. Prices are a bit high but portions are huge.

Great local spot. Excellent German food and pizza. Staff is very friendly and we loved the accordion player

Had more to eat than just German. Try for fried pizzas or the salads. The shrimp were delicious.

Incredible food and service. Bratwurst and schnitzel were the best I’ve had in the city. Definitely will be back

With the absence of so many classic restaurants of this type that have closed over the years, Himmel’s stands out for their delicious food and friendly service.

Incredible food and service. Bratwurst and schnitzel were the best I’ve had in the city. Definitely will be back

This is a gem. Great wood oven pizza. Thursday and Friday night they have live music with acoustic guitar. The owners are sisters and are just super people. Fun atmosphere. It’s both cozy and lively. Usually packed to the brim. It has a great German food and beer menu as well although I haven’t hAd the German food I hear it’s wonderful. And they have traditional German music on Saturday nights. In the summer the back patio is a a great little spot too. It’s on Lawrence ave Lincoln square. Not on the main drag of The Square so don’t miss it.
