This is our go-to spot for a good mutton curry. It's delicious!! Also their chicken momos and garlic naan are a must try. The food takes some time to get to the table but I assume it's because they cook everything fresh as it tastes all fresh. I have tried a couple of their vegetarian dishes and they were decent. I love that the food is very home-cooked style, so no floating layer of oil or too heavy with masalas. Recommend this place highly for Nepali/Indian food!
Good place for traditional Nepalese, Sherpa and Tibetan food.Beer and Wine available too.We ordered homemade traditional Momos, tibetan delights (giant fried chicken dumplings), 1 nepalese style curry and Goat Sekuwa which is goat cooked on a wood fire and then plated on cast iron as sizzler. The goat was dry but other things were great.
This is by far the best Indian/ Nepalese food I have ever experienced! I have written only a hand full of Yelp Reviews in my life and this by far is worth a 5 star review, which speaks volumes!!! The atmosphere is absolutely charming, authentic and blissful. I smile the entire time I'm here listening to the culturally tuned music and the sweetness of the entire staff. I am in Love with this place and I want to shout out loud, tell my neighbor and sing the praises of Little Nepal restaurant!!! My new favorite by FAR!!
Freshly prepared authentic Nepali food. Chowmein and thali was so yumm, I can’t praise enough. Hostess was very kind and their cooks are awesome. It was a delight to drink hot masala chai after the meal.
First time trying this restaurant, ordered a takeout. Food tasted good, but samosas and naan were raw inside. Maybe it has to do with the fact that it was almost their closing time when I ordered the food and my order was rushed.2 starts for raw dough.
I've never had a bad Butter Chicken or Tikka Masala and this place doesn't disappoint. Got them alongside a delicious garlic nann. This was my first time here and they had many other items on the menu I look forward to trying in the future. They also require proof of vaccination status so remember to bring some before dining in.
They have got the best Nepali food one can ask for. The momo and samosa here were the most delicious ones that i have eaten so far in US. Very friendly environment and great hospitality. The crave for Nepali food on our trip to Chicago from Nebraska was fully satiated. I highly recommend trying this restaurant whenever in Chicago.
Amazing! Just amazing! Everything we got was just insanely delicious and tender! I loved the Tibetan delights! The Naan was fluffy and warm. But the Chicken Tandoori, was the highlight. Some of the best chicken I have ever had in my life. I feel like I need to try everything on the menu
Fantastic! We've ordered a few times in the past few months and it's always been great. There are many vegetarian options and we've particularly liked the pumpkin curry. Everything is cooked excellently and lasts us a few days.It tends to be on the spicier side, which I like.
The only place you can find authentic Nepalese cuisine in Chicago area. Taas and Choilaa are the favorites..
