I went here on a Thursday evening with a friend. We always like the local experience when traveling and this place definitely delivered. The staff were all very friendly and the crowd is pretty diverse. They have a good happy hour menu and my friend and I found out we got 25% off our appetizer during their happy hour as well. Couldn’t tell you how great the experience I had at this bar after work. The locals made for a good atmosphere watching sports. Once again had outstanding service by the lovely Katerina. Taking care and making sure I could see the sports game I was watching. Man whoever is in that kitchen is absolutely taking care of business. I like to try something new off the menu every visit. This time, the Blackened chicken club, every bite made me wish I had more! Such a great experience that I even got the new dessert. Chocolate Flan! Are you kidding! Can’t wait for my next visit. Alright bet. So I haven’t been here in ages and I’ve been coming to this bar since I was 21 I’m 35. I usually sit at the bar and can’t even remember a time when I’ve got bad service but I’m used to seeing a bar tender Johnny. He was always super friendly and very kind. Tonight I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Omar and he was the right amount of attentive. Not overbearing, kind, spoke to me using my first name (which I’m usually weirded out by cause I work in retail) but he’s really warm about it. Dynamic bartender who understands what each of his customers need which is rare, appreciated and not taken lightly that delicate skill. Thank you Omar for making me enjoy Hawkeyes again!
Hawkeye's, which is more than just a bar, is a neighborhood staple where professionals and college students alike come to socialize and relax. The service is second to none, the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The food is definitely pricey for bar food, but if you order happy hour specials you can get a much better bang for your buck.
First I would like to say this bar stinks!! Literally it smells so bad?the waitress with blonde highlighted hair passed my table several times after I called out to her. When she did come to my table she was very rude! She just stood around flirting with men . The bar wasn’t very busy that night so I don’t understand why she had an attitude. Not only this but my Italian beef meat was pink and tasteless . The drinks were good though.
This is a place where I’ll go for a convo with friends that’s it. I ordered drinks the server recommended and didn’t even get a buzz and I’m not a drinker. Nachos were cold,bill was over a hundred including tip. Wasn’t worth it. But I did enjoy my time out with my friend that’s what made the night.
I just had the most wonderful service of my life, by a girl named Katerina. She helped navigate the menu in my favor and topic of conversation the whole time. The Food!!! Omg. Burger, wings, you name it. Absolutely fantastic would rate 10/10 certainly won’t be the last visit!

Been here twice so far, and I say so far becuz I will most definitely be back!!! My cousin asked me to recommend a bar not too far from my house for him and his co works to have a drink after their shift. Of course I tagged along as well. Not only did they love it but they will be booking their party room for an event. The staff always makes u feel warm and welcome. Just make sure u have your COVID-19 VACCINATION CARD!!!???????????????????Oh yeah, did I mention their food was great as well?!?!?!?
Food was great, the service was great some of the best bloody marys ive had in a long time the manager Omar was very friendly and helpful one hell of a guy cant wait to go back at least for the bloody marys
