Was ok.. think it closed down.. I didn't feel very welcome in there. One of those places that treat the regulars really nice but new comers get the cold shoulder.
I purchased a pre packaged flat cut brisket at Jewel (not cheap either) and there was no seasoning packet in it! How am I supposed to make a Harrington corned beef or any corned beef with out the spice packet?! I don't know what is in the packet not to mention I don't have the ingredients at home and sure wasn't about to go but them to make it. There is no way to contact them to let them know this other than calling there actual location and I know that is not where there distribution center is so very annoying for being such a big company in Chicago.
Stop in for a sandwich or have them cater your party. The food is great. My favorite corned beef in the city.
Had it the first time at a St. Patty’s day dinner at St. Raymond’s in Mt. Prospect (it was catered by Harrington’s). I asked where they got the corned beef. I was stunned when I found out it was down the street from my car insurance agent. I’ve been going there ever since.
Irish Catholic-- Just had a great Tuna Salad Sandwich & will be back on Tuesday (St. Patrick's Day) for corned beef. Thank you!!

Its a staple of the North Side Irish. Has a few table. most of their business is take out and catering small to very large groups. I have never had a bad sandwich from them. Served hot with rye brad (other bread available) pickle and a special in house horse radish. Look up the rest of the menu, they do have other items. Free parking too!
