Literally the slowest and worst service of any food establishment that you can ever imagine. It does not take 30min to make two chicken sandwiches that were nasty. Place was not even that busy. There was a lobby full of customers yet the employee is picking up the phone and taking call in orders before customers standing in front of them. The lady taking orders is beyond rude. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. ??
Drove from Milwaukee to get Harolds at like 10pm, we ordered online thru Clovers App, our order was $73, after placing order, we call to see if our food was ready, the girl that answered said they didn't have bags or half of what we ordered, so I asked her for a refund and she said she was doing it, I've called for days turned into weeks turned into months, they still never refunded our money. The managers kept taking my info down but still never fixed the issue.
I do admit because I’m a south sider & I feel as though all the best Harold’s are on the south side but I was wrong!! I took a chance on this location ?? & the food was perfectly cooked, no big wings & the customer service from the 2 young women & the young man “the cook” was awesome. The only con is——- they NEVER have hot peppers! There’s no Harold’s without hot peppers!!!Keep up the good work!
Placed a $150 order online at 7pm and when I arrived to pick it up at 730pm I was told they are not accepting any more orders. Mind you, they close at midnight. Told them I ordered online. Cashier told me they didn't receive the order. That's interesting because they were able to pull up my order to refund it. Believe every bad review you read on here.
I typically LOVE Harold’s Chicken. However, this location has let me down time and time again. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but to no avail. Their website says they close at midnight. I called to place an order at 11 o’clock. The girl that picked up said “Harold’s on Broadway, we ain’t taking no mo orders” and hung up. I was close by so I decided to stop by anyways, thinking maybe they would take a walk in order since they closed in an HOUR. When I got their, the male employee was standing outside, just hanging out. As soon as he saw me walking up to the door, he ran in a locked the door in my face! I tapped on the window and he opened the door slightly. I asked him if it closes at midnight, he said “yeah” so I asked if I can order and he said “we just ran outta chicken”. Come on now! The employees there are always rude and ignorant when I call. They claim to run out of chicken to not work for the last hour but get paid for it. If I had the number to their main location or to the owner, I would call and place a complaint about their employees. They act like they hate their job, but they chose to work their. No one is forcing them. If they are going to have that attitude and be rude to their customers then just leave that job to someone else that truly needs it and wants it.
Amazing place to eat if you come for a family thing … I love the cashier Tarri she’s so amazing helps me every time. She usually works night. Although the females in the morning are very rude. Have attitudes all the time and they act like they don’t want to help me. Tarri is the only person who has amazing customer service will be returning only to get service from her though.
I'm sorry but as soon as you walk into this place it stinks badly... It does not smell like chicken. It smells foul! I'm trying it for the first time here.. Lets see? It was normal chicken... It wasn't spoiled...by the taste you can tell "yes" they don't switch the frying oil out very much but It tasted fine.. I don't know what happened to other folks but I feel you all and apologize for others horrible experiences.
Man! Who cooked this Chicken! Juicy, brined, seasoned, clean, crispy, generous portions from a small business. Look at these pictures!I see some reviews calling out time; if y’all want some soggy butt chicken that’s been sitting out, there’s a kfc down the street. I also like KFC honestly, but Harold’s is cleaner, more affordable, gives a basket of fries.Good/clean eats, big portions, and affordable; I got 1/2 a chicken and basket of fries for $13. Lemon Pepper and Mild, there’s no other way.
This location is slow as hell. Then they drizzle the sauce on. Any true Chicagoan wants their food nicely covered in sauce. It’s like they sprinkled the sauce on. They take forever so you have to order way in advance. I don’t recommend
Tried Harold’s Chicken for the 1st time a few weeks ago through the Too Good To Go app (at a discount) a few weeks ago and the food was fresh, the chicken was crunchy and delicious. I recommend it and would definitely get food from them again in the future.
