Cute little place! The pancakes were super fluffy! I had the Earl Grey/Salted Caramel ones, with an iced matcha latte. The salted caramel cream was way too salty. I couldn't use more than a little bit at a time. Everything else was good! It was a nice experience. My friend got the takoyaki and enjoyed it. You can tell they just made them.
It was a fun experience seeing and trying these (we got nutella and the custard pancakes), but they mainly tasted like egg whites without any other flavoring unless they were doused in the nutella or custard they came with which was a bit disappointing. The matcha latte however, was extremely delicious and I loved the designs they made in it. I’d like to be able to try more flavors, like individuals instead of having to order 3 of the same at the same time. This place wasnt incredible, but it was a fun thing to try
Was the food worth the wait? YES definitely!Yes it did take a long time to get your food if you’re dining in on a Saturday morning because they prioritize take-out orders. But like it wasn’t too bad tbh, it’s a nice environment to just catch up with friends and drink your matcha latte while you wait for your food.I would come back on a non-busy day for sure ✨
If anyone that reads my notes I love a place that offers value for money. The pancakes are perfect, the place calm yet busy, value good. Highly recommended for a quick stop. It has a great location, a short distance from Michigan Ave.
Really good fluffy soufflé pancakes
I've only successfully made souffle pancakes twice at home, so it was wonderful to try them in a cafe! These were lovely and light, as they were meant to be. It felt like biting into a lightly sweet cloud. Prices were reasonable. Staff were friendly and we didn't wait long for our order. I'd definitely come back!
Flippin fantastic [email protected] is flipping up soufflé pancakes just like you’d find in Japan. They’re like fluffy clouds that just melt in your mouth! They come in a handful of different flavors like mocha, matcha, Nutella, early grey, and more, all served with fresh whipped cream and fruit. Pan cakes delicious . Most of the time lines are long I just happen to miss the lines . Try it u will like it . Most of the reviews are pancakes. I will definitely try the ramen next time .
This coffeeshop by far is my FAVORITE in Chicago. Whenever I want to have a light nice dessert, I go here! SO GOOD! The most delicious fluffy pancakes.Employees are so nice, thoughtful, and caring. Great food quality and everything is just perfect here. I would give 10stars if I could :)
We came here on a rainy Saturday afternoon and the wait was about 20 minutes. The Earl grey pancakes were amazing and the Hana fruit tea was really refreshing. The only con is that they don't take reservations and you have to wait outside bc of covid.
