We came here for dinner tonight . Everyonegreeted us with the smiles on their faces as we walked in. Food was excellent!! We both really enjoyed the food and the fast and friendly service! My favorite were Three kings roll and Spicy Ramen. ?We were not disappointed! Everything was really good.

If you’re into spice - ask for the Super Spicy Ramen. It’s the best. I love how much care and effort they put in the sushi roll orders.

Tiny little restaurant serving pretty good sushi for reasonable prices. It made a pleasant lunch after a morning at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Nothing mind-blowing but we were glad we tried it.

Green Tea Japanese Restaurant was only one of the few open for lunch after a pleasant weekday stroll through Lincoln Park. It was quite cozy inside. We seated at a small table for two near the kitchen.Lunch special was a good quick option. Bento Box B included crispy chicken katsu, 2 pcs of shrimp tempura, and 4 pcs of house maki roll. Food was freshly prepared and tasted as expected. It came with miso soup, rice and salad to round out lunch.

A little confused by all the 5 star reviews..My bf and I were so disappointed by our experience. I wish I had taken a pic before our meal, but I didn't think to take one until after.. but you can see how much rice is caked onto the rolls. And the rice itself, which is the most important part of sushi was so off. The texture of the grains was harder than it should be and the flavor wasn't right. The fish didn't look or taste fresh. One looked almost greyish, we were honestly nervous that we might get sick. The ginger too.. Apologies for being nitpicky, but a couple pieces had browning. I'm not certain if pickled ginger can go bad, but it didn't look like skin.We went in with high expectations..

Our friends had a good meal here and recommended to us for a Saturday get together, so we ordered take out. There are mixed reviews on Google but usually we don't care much for them since not very many people know what sushi is and what it should taste like and definitely not how it should be prepared. When I picked up the food I realized that It is a Thai owned restaurant and immediately I changed my expectation. It turned out that I was right. The fish was old, not slimy old but dry old. I saw other reviews having the same findings so I was not the only one. If you are used to eating the sushi from buffets and the cooler section of Jewel Osco you probably cannot tell the difference. The flavor combination was ok. The traditional Catepillar, Boston, Dragon type of specialty rolls were ok, the rice was cooked correctedly, the arrangements were standard. The tempura rolls were horrible, too wet, too much sauce inside the rolls and it is hard to keep it together. The small side dishes were not good either, the poke was too spicy while the Tuna was old and dry, the texture of the Tuna was already starting to harden. The Takoyaki had very little Tako in it, and the mixture was undercooked. The Soft Shell Crab was ok but the so called Ponzu sauce should be skipped.

Wonderful place to eat. After eating here I couldn’t believe I didn’t find this gem before, I now know I resonated at the same frequency when I found it.Sushi is very fresh. I got Threekings and Ginger Saba maki and they were both amazing rolls.Service was great from both waitress and chef. Had a nice talk with chef Get.It’s a very cozy environment and Japanese feel here.Sushi is art and I am really grateful chef made such tasty and beautiful dishes for me.I say the best experiences eating sushi is always at the bar.Have to come back for their Ramen, it sounds really good.To the owner and the people who work here, You got me at Green tea!Arigatō ??

Amazing Food! I enjoyed everything and it tastes so clean and fresh. I really recommend for lunch/dinner it’s so light but filling! :) Also staff was very nice.

SO AMAZINGAuthentic tasty beautiful presentation and casual atmosphere

Stopped by for a bite, the staff was super helpful and recommended the monster (not on the menu) and spicy Chicago roll. Both were amazing!
