Real good spot. It took about 45 minutes for the pizza to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait. This is a must try if you're visiting Chicago. All of the food that I ate was delicious.
One of the best pizza restaurant, not to be missed in Chicago. Supreme veggie pizza was good with ample stuffing of cheese and vegetables. Plenty of other options,Starters, Sandwiches, Italian delicacies, Salads, Deserts. Courteous staff and good overall dining experience.
After a morning spent at nearby Shedd Aquarium, we wanted to try some deep dish pizza and found Giordano's. We got there about 11:30 to an almost empty place. The menu and waiter both told us of the 45 minute wait for pizza, so we also ordered a Caesar salad and soft drinks. The salad was very good and plenty big enough to share and before we knew it the pizza was ready. It did not disappoint with tasty sausage, pepperoni, peppers and lots of gooey cheese! The small pizza gave us each two slices and we still gad two slices that will probably be tomorrow's breakfast! Win-win!
I stopped in to try something different than the pizza, so I had the meatball sandwich, which was excellent. Big sandwich with a fresh tasty baked roll and 3 large meatballs, with plenty cheese on top.The small salad included was perfect. The restaurant was very clean as was the restroom, and hand sanitizer available.Highly recommend if you are just in the mood for a sandwich.
My first deep dish pizza and it was definitely worth the wait! It was delicious! Deep dish pizza takes about 45 min to make from when you order. The staff was so friendly and amazing! I am exited to come back!
This was my first time in Chicago, and the family wanted to get some Chicago's style pizza. Since we were going to the Field Museum, Giordano's was close by. I will have to say, this place does not disappoint. The flavor and cook of the pizza was fantastic. Our server was also great. He had some jokes and we played along and returned some of our own. Eating here was the highlight of my Chicago trip. I wish this place was closer. Fortunately, they do deliver to other states! Delicious pizza served through serious delivery.
Everyone’s heard of the Chicago deep pan style pizza. If so and it’s on your list, get yourself down to Giordano’s. There’s a few dotted around downtown Chicago, but I prefer this one since it’s not as busy as the others. Pizza was great and the meatball’s sub was excellent! Fully recommend. Not that the deep pan pizzas take 45 mins to prepare and a small one is enough for a single diner.
We went for the lunch service.Got a seat in 5 mins. It was a pretty busy day.Ambience was really really good. They have this Chicago The future city theme. That was literally interesting. I went through different posters and old pictures of Chicago which were present. Vibes were really good.Disappointed by the food and service.Food was totally bland. May it be there famous deep dish pizza or the parmesan pasta (chef’s special) were really bad.Disappointed. That’s it at the end of the day.
This place did not disappoint!! The best pizza ever!! So worth the wait! ??????
Service and food was average. Table was not clean when seated. Bathroom was also not clean and didn't have soap. Thus employees are not washing their hands. Prices are reasonable for the portion size. One of their locations isn't offering dine in due to construction. They issues a coupon to other locations. This restaurant is not part of that franchise so they did not honor the coupon. How that was presented was disappointing as there was no consideration for the miss information and inconvenience.
