I was going to get pizza, at the airport, before my flight back. However, the "10am" listed opening on Google made me check out of my hotel and go to Giordano's. Get there, and it's closed. (opening was really at 11. Google was wrong!). The lady assigning the tables opens the door for me, and still let's me in. Allows me to order and dine before actual opening (she saw all of my luggage). I hope the restaurant doesn't hold it against her, because that was a very nice gesture.I order the Giordano Special, large. Man, that joint tasted so good. I eat six, and the remaining two, I take home on the plane. Service is great. I was going to go to another pizza spot, but Giordano's was down the block from my hotel. I definitely made the correct move before my flight!
I'm from Michigan and we have Pizza Papalis which I stopped eating cause they changed their spinach DeepDish recipe or ingredients years ago. It was good to come here (the original) and have an AMAZIN spinach deep dish pizza! The atmosphere is great food is amazing and the Sangria is good also. We alsonhad the appetizer. I think it's good for 2 ppl, we had 4 lol. It's many locations so make sure you stop by!Parking: They have their own parking lot
Pizza was pretty good. But service wasn't that great. They left us for a long time without taking our order. It was a Monday evening. We ordered a Small (6 slices) Deep Dish Stuffed Pizza with Sausage, spinach and onions. It took about 45 minutes before it came out, so just make sure you have time to spare.
Yes! The food was amazing and the service was excellent . They were very nice and stylish
Kathy the server was great. She was run off her feet - receiving zero help from the 2+ cashiers who just stood there- and tried to help to the best of her ability. Deep Dish pizza was REALLY GOOD!! Unfortunately they forgot about my wife’s pasta, she waited one hour to be served. If Giordano’s could sort out its Cashier issue (unfriendly and unhelpful) and support the one server supporting 7+ tables, the place could be too notch.
I’m a New Yorker and we love our pizza. Everyone’s raving about deep dish & I had to try it cause I love it when you can eat a pizza with a fork & knife and not be judged for it ?Atmosphere: cute place, plenty of seatingService: our waitress was really great and I appreciated that she gave us the heads up that our food would take 45 mins to come outFood: we started with mozzarella sticks. Had the right amount of cheesy pull with a classic marinara sauce. We got a classic deep dish with pepperoni, mushrooms & peppers. It was definitely enjoyable. I did not think I’d like the thin, pie like crust but there was something so satisfying about it.Overall I wouldn’t see myself eating a deep dish as frequently as I crave a slice of pizza, however it definitely has its charm & Giordanos was a great place to have my first deep dish slice.
Friendly service and tasty food, they even let you order in advance if you're in a rush. Convenient location for downtown activities. Cash only paid parking out front only.
My first time to Chicago. This place was recommended. I decided to walk to this place since my hotel was down the street. They were friendly. The pizza was really good. Did not expect the pizza would be this big for a “small” size order. Really good pizza!
Excellent deep dish and the calamari was as good as the pizza.
Delicious. Fun atmosphere. Friendly
