So I had to try out Giordano's since it's one of the popular deep dish pizza chains alongside Lou's. I have to say though that Giordano's did not live up to the standard I had with Lou's. Be aware that the pizza takes about 30 minutes to make!! Not a grab and go pizza spot.FoodI got a personal pepperoni deep dish pizza since the personal size comes with limited topping/customization options. The cheese and pepperoni were pretty good and I like how the cheese is on top at Giordano's. But the crust was not good. It was soggy and was almost falling apart as I picked it up. I also thought that the pizza would come out in the silver pan, but it came out on a regular plate (not sure if this was because it was a personal size or if it was cause it was like 9:30pm).AtmosphereA casual spot with plenty of booth or table seating.. It's got a lot of decorations with pizza related puns andPricingMy first ever Chicago pizza so don't have much experience to compare the prices to other Chicago pizzas. The small pizza (says it serves 2 but I ate the whole thing) was $21 and definitely filled me up.ServiceService was super good. My server explained any questions I had and was very friendly. Estimated times for when the food would come out were given and I never felt like I was wondering when the food would come out.OtherLocated right on State street and within walking distance from many hotels in downtown Chicago.

It was a good deep dish pizza. I personally don’t enjoy how heavy and filling deep dish pizzas are, but this was a well made one. I would recommend ordering ahead of time as it takes about 45 minutes for them to make and cook their deep dishes. This is said on their menu so they do give a warning about the waiting time which is appreciated.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Pizza was ok at best, i was disappointed especially for the price. Not impressed and was not indicative of a true Chicago style deep dish. The sauce was very bitter and bland. Salad was made with the yellow parts of iceberg lettuce and tasted funky. Won't be returning. Again many thanks to the staff they were awesome!!

We arrived late without a reservation so we had to wait 45 minutes for a deep dish pizza . The restaurant was very busy. The pizza was very good . The tender meat balls had a lot of favor. My husband and I liked the food very much .

This was our choice to try deep dish and we were not disappointed. You can call them before you arrive to order, so that you don't have to wait through the prep/cook time, and I appreciated that. The pizza was really, really good. But only one in our party could manage two slices. Know what you are ordering! It is rich, cheesy, meaty goodness to about 3' high!

A group of us (6) went here for dinner, service was great, all of the food came fast and was also great. We had 3 diff kinds of pizza all was good

This house salad is great. The lemon vinaigrette is so fresh. Waiting on the deep dish pizza that takes 45 minutes to bake. The bar side is laid back and not busy at all. Bartender is very attentive and helpful! The crust is awesome! Definitely worth the wait.

Our waiter David was excellent! Food was delicious!!!!! My recommendation is …. build us one in Virginia. ?

Visited Giodanos because we heard about Deep Pan Pizza Pies and wanted to try it and this place was recommended so, reserved a table. Service is good and our Waitress was lovely. We ordered a meat medium for three of us and wife ordered a vegetarian single. There's a 45 minute wait but it was worth it. The medium is more than enough for three people. Both pies, were delicious, the cheese was very stretchy and the pie crust lovely. Good value for money also. Great experience at Giorandos.

We came here for The deep dish pizza, it was really good. it takes at least 45 minutes for it to be ready. So get a beer, order something small and enjoy the chill atmosphere while you're waiting.
