Love Garrett’s popcorn. Got the jumbo Chicago mix to take home for the 4th of July family trip. Eaten in 2 days.
Okay, let me just get to the point: the best part? The popcorn, of course! I don’t think you can come to Chicago and not try this popcorn. It’s SO good!!! And it’s convenient that they have more then one location you can go to. The worst part? I’ve been to another Garret’s before and that experience was super busy and it took us a long time to get inside but I felt like it was all a part of the experience. This time around, this location was not busy at all and I felt rushed by the lady behind the counter. She wasn’t very friendly but it was nearing about 7pm and I’m sure she was tired, she seemed to be working on her own. They also had very little left but we managed to get 2 medium bags and one small. We got caramel, cheddar and butter and they are so good!! So, keep in mind the later you go in the day, you might risk them running out of a flavor you want. The giant containers, in my opinion, are crazy expensive (friendly or family container I think was $96) but the other bags are better priced.
This store can be found on many places around city, it’s a must to try these popcorn, small size will do for two people, really tasty, you will get a nice bag for takeaway, they also sell drinks.they deserve ?????
Holy moly amazing! We totally understand all of the hype now. We bought the Garrett mix of cheddar and caramel. Caramel bag and spicy one. All were so yummy! The spicy wasn't spicy at first but then it snuck up on you. Totally worth the wait in getting our bags!
If your signs says you close at 8p close at 8pm not 7:50p. It’s Memorial Day weekend and thousands of tourists. Not everyone is flying out so the airports aren’t viable options for everyone!!
Couldn’t come downtown without getting some famous Garrett’s Popcorn! My favorite is the Chicago Mix! This store was clean and the staff was very friendly!
Nice little popcorn shop. I only wish they had a few more flavor options to choose from besides, cheese, caramel, spicy buffalo and the chocolate/caramel. They sell bags and also have decorative tins if you want to give as gifts. The popcorn was fresh and delicious... be extremely cautious, the chocolate/caramel mixture could add some extra pounds if you are not careful!!!
Very delicious popcorn and friendly staff. Very impressive packaging they make, and very nice containers they do have.I didn't give them 5 *, because i ordered 1mix medium bag; 3/4 plain popcorn & 1/4 caramel - I got half of it caramel :(. However, if you are planning to visit the Millennium Park, i strongly recommend to try their popcorn before going to the park.
Had a wonderful experience at the Michigan Ave location! The staff were so eager to help with my large order and so friendly with the whole process.
