Ordered via UberEat. We got the Veggie Gains; it was delicious with just the right amount of spice; the seasoning is definitely on the heavy side and very oily. Mushroom dumpling was great, and loved the noodle. Over all, it was good, not your traditional Japanese Raman place, and a bit over priced.
Significantly better than it used to be! Even though I swore I'd never go back a few months ago, I returned today to discover that the ramen had improved immensely — the broth, the noodles, the overall flavor, everything. Now I can't wait to go back!
Food was top-notch incredible and drinks were great! But I wanna talk about the service. We have two children and sometimes it is difficult to go in somewhere and feel welcome. Our server was incredible nice and welcoming and made our kids feel so safe and they had a BLAST! He even gave our kiddos a gift at the end of the meal from his own kindness. 10/10. Definitely recommend.
Decent enough food but the service was almost nonexistent. I could see my pickup order was ready and bagged up. It was the only order there. I felt invisible as I watched the clock for 5 minutes before anyone asked to assist me. I gave the name on the order and the person disappeared. 10 more minutes pass before I walked up to their line and just grabbed the food myself. There are far better options in the neighborhood.
A lot of spiciness in their dishes. Friendly staff, presentations amazing, and quick turn around for food to come out. My only gripes is the music at times is too loud where I can’t hear my own husband whom was less than a foot away. And I would like more options on the menu.
Came 2 weeks ago for some Ramen. We used to go to the Wicker Park location but unfortunately with covid it ended up shutting down so this is the next closest Furious too us. Upon arriving the place was about half full. Me & my boyfriend ordered the Furious. The food was good, tasted just like the usual Furious, nothing crazy. But unfortunately the staff was not so nice. Waited almost an hour for our food & even had to remind the staff twice about it which we did not appreciate. Almost ended up walking out but since we made the drive over we beared with it. People that were coming in after us were getting their food in a timely manner while we were forgotten about. Really hoping they bring back the one that was in Wicker cause this Furious Spoon ain't it.
Honestly some of the worst Ramen I have ever had on this last go around ordering from Furious. I’m glad to see others have noticed this place had gone WAY downhill since the pandemic! Normally I have another go to place just down Milwaukee that rhyme as with Zasabi, but decided to give furious a try again on a night when my #1 wasn’t taking pickup orders. What a mistake indeed- O was left with a Ramen size craving and empty stomach because half of our party LITERALLY threw away their food, it was so bland! The pros here I guess are that they are right around the corner from me and pretty fast with orders… but like so is Taco Bell, and at least their food doesn’t taste like gruel. We all ordered some variation of the furious classic, with extra spice / noodles. First off, the staff was pretty rude to my friend who picked up, and told her the app was wrong/ food wasn’t ready … and then realized 10 min later it had been sitting out on a stool the whole time. Annoying, but it was a Sat so maybe that got lost in the shuffle on a busy night… except for the fact that another group of friends ordered to go THAT SAME NIGHT and had the exact same experience (and was missing items from their order)! Big sad for cold ramen.Once we all settled in and reheated the broth, we opened our bowls to find the noodles were literally congealed together as one big brick- the extra noodles on the side literally wouldn’t come apart, they had all merged into super noodle brick (see pics). After trying to unstick with a bit of broth, then oil, those all went right into the trash. The noodles with toppings (aka standard noodles for your order) were a little more forgiving, but literally needed to be soaked in hot broth and picked apart to separate. On top of it, the pork belly was all fatty over cooked nastiness… the dumplings were cold, and the broth tasted like vegetable broth. Not even as flavorful as chicken brother, just straight up unsalted bean juice. A bit of eel sauce, soy sauce, siracha, umami powder and real chicken broth got mine to be edible ish, but half of my friends in on the order just gave up and made an oven pizza that night.Beyond disappointing experience for everyone except my dog, who did rejoice in the fact that we all fed her the nasty pork belly that came floating in our sad soup (see pics for manic happy dog post pork belly).
They treat the delivery drivers like trash. They don’t even acknowledge us when we come in and are only focus on their dine in customers. Good customer service should be given to all.
Delicious noodles with great accenting flavors like chili and lime and fish and seafood stocks. I enjoyed the “Mother Clucker” chicken. The music here adds to the vibe… where ramen meets hip hop. Try the sake in the drink box, so good.
I love coming here for a good bowl of ramen. What I like the most is the caring & Harding working employees. There was one employee, Britt, that stood out to me the most. She was very helpful and showed impeccable customer service. I would come back anytime just to be serviced by her. 10/10 I recommend this place.
