Great Nashville HOT chicken! I started going to the Elmhurst location when they opened. Now FryTheCoop has a few more locations. Always great size chicken (I always get the tenders). You won't be disappointed!
Love it! The heat levels are actually where they should be unlike most places in the space I think. Medium is actually medium, not mild etc.
The sandwich is fine. The spicy one doesn’t come with much on it. Just the sauce. The fries are fine.Order took a while to come out. Fries were cold. Asked for fresh fries. Took forever to come out.
Their sandwiches are fantastic when rightThis has happened now more often than not, but when I get their medium, it ends up being a lot hotter than it should be. They need to be way more consistent with their spice levels. Also I think that it wouldn’t hurt to add a spice level between mild and medium.
Sooooo, I stumbled across Fry The Coop from word of mouth through Instagram. I was very impressed honestly. The entrance was photogenically appealing. When you enter the restaurant you’ll have to gaze over the plethora of items on the menu. Being an out of towner, I’m very bummed I can not taste more of their food over time. However, this just means I need to venture back to Chicago! My donut chicken sandwich was good! The sweetness from the donut swirled with the HOTNESS from the chicken accompanied with that pickle drizzle a tad bit of honey mustard … lip smacking experience. Guaranteed!!The bar was fully stocked. The staff was helpful with the many questions I had. The music had an R&B vibe. NO RESERVATION required. I would highly recommend for first date.
The order I received via delivery was very underwhelming. The fries were stale, cold, and rock hard. I also go the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken was super dry, my bun was also over- toasted and hard. The only redemption was the spice on the chicken itself; it was nice and hot with a kick that stayed with you, which I throughly enjoyed. Just wish the rest of the meal could’ve gone better. I might try this place again, but maybe I’ll have to dine in.
Fantastic food, fantastic service, and classic tunes
