They donât have white rice! Only black rice.
Food and service was great. There was music with very explicit lyrics playing during the meal. We were able to tune it out. If we had our kids with us, we would have asked for it to change or we would have left.
Some very interesting Maki, plus great service in a lovely atmosphere.
We loved this place. The food was amazing. They serve their rolls on black rice … it was different and SO good. Such a cute and modern looking place … very uniquely different. VERY slow service … maybe because it was Memorial Day?! :)
Sushi was delicious. Black rice was an interest twist. Tasty sauces. Prices were high for lunch

We love the sushi and atmosphere at Friends and go often because we live in the area. When we went this time, our server treated us like he didn’t want us to be there, rushed us in ordering, and was not attentive. We had a large party and ordered apps, entrees, drinks so you would think he would appreciate the business. They also automatically included a 20% tip which was not warranted. This used to be one of our favorite neighborhood spots but we might try other sushi options in the area next due to the poor service experience.
Ordered takeout at night and was very disappointed. The order was almost entirely messed up. The wrong rolls were included and it seemed like they just threw in a bunch of rolls they had on hand. Not sure what they were thinking. Thankfully they corrected part of the order, but it involved multiple unnecessary trips back and forth to the restaurant. The food itself was good, which is the reason for the two stars.Maybe dine in is a different experience but I would not recommend takeout.
