Absolutely fabulous new sushi spot! Crab Rangoon was one of the best I’ve had. Started with a miso soup, very good. We tried dragon rolls, latino Maki roll and the crunchy salmon. All of the rolls were super fresh and tasty. They also have happy hour Monday-Friday and best of all, they’re BYOB! Super friendly attentive staff.
This place is amazing!! The sushi is super fresh, their homemade sauces are delicious! I do not like crab Rangoon and theirs is lite and full of crab and cream cheese not just doughy and all cream cheese. The owner Guam is engaging and charismatic and cares about his customers’ experience. We are so happy to have an amazing new sushi restaurant nearby and would highly recommend this place for dine in, takeout and delivery.
Had the gyozas and they were sooooo good ! Also had about 5 different rolls , all very different , fresh and delicious ! Quality and quantity was perfect and price range were very reasonable ! Not overpriced at all because the quality is so worth it . Glad to have a spot in the neighborhood that finally serves delicious sushi , definitely coming back !
A hidden gem for sure! Sushi is fresh and delicious. Unlike your normal sushi spot in my opinion. My family and I went there and we all ate a lot for a great price. The crab Rangoon and miso soup are my fav! Excellent choice.
Best Sushi Restaurant on the planet. Not only was all the food superior than any other Sushi restaurant I've been to. My family and I had a feast.(I mean all the food was good). Very reasonable prices as well. The most astonishing fact about this restaurant was the host (Quam) his amazing knowledge of food and customer service was unlike any other. The Ice cream desert was mind blowing. You don't have to take my word for it, but I guarantee you, you won't find another Sushi restaurant in the city of Chicago as good this one. The ambiance of this establishment is very warm and pleasant. I highly recommend this place for family gatherings, and with people you want to share a special food feast with. It's pure laughter and joy. Thank you Quam for your kind recommendations on food selections. My family and I had the time of our lives, as if we were on vacation. Thank you! "Fresh Shushi Chicago" is a gift to eating out.

First time at Fresh Sushi Chicago and had an amazing dinner. Everything we ate was delicious- the crab Rangoon was light, crispy outside and fresh crab inside with just the right touch of cream cheese. Best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had. Gyoza dumpling were warm, and wonderful. Maki rolls were presented beautifully with super fresh ingredients. Generous potions, too. Friendly staff, quick service and delicious food! This place is a must. We will be back!!
Great service from the moment we walked in. One of the owners curated our sushi tray and every roll was fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend the dragon, jalapeño, sweet potato, and the Godzilla roll. The crab rangoons were super light and tasty.
The sushi was really good! Also, the chicken wings were amazing, not something you would usually order at a sushi restaurant but since I had my children with me our server recommended those. The service was excellent too.
This was without a doubt the best sushi I have ever had and I’m 67! We started off with appetizers of crab Rangoon and chicken wings. I know, at a sushi restaurant chicken wings?! The wings were delicious, but the sauce they serve with the wing was unbelievable, unbelievable!! The crab Rangoon‘s are sometimes cream cheesy tasting these were crab tasting with just a subtle taste of cream cheese. I haven’t even gotten to the rolls. Amazing, did I say amazing?! I cannot even describe the feeling in my mouth as I tasted each one of the four different rolls that we purchased. I will post pictures. I would talk for about an hour about the different textures the spicy, the sweet, the crunchy! This place is a must go to. I drove from Oak Park and traffic down Cicero Avenue and will be a regular. I didn’t get the chef’s name but had time to chat with the owner, Guam. I’ll let him tell you about the amazing cuisine!!!I loved this place!!!
