It’s an aesthetic store but talking to the employees and seeing them be mistreated by their manager, I’m upset by Foxtrot’s business practices. You’d think they’d treat workers better … I’d rather not support a business like this.

I dont understand how Foxtrot is opening more locations considering their Maple location isn’t properly managed. Poor management, horrible business practices, and a scam.

Worst. Bad food and work ethic.

Coming here is an absolute joy, Angel is very hands on and helped find a specific bottle of wine for a special night I was having. 10/10 would recommend

I have visited here multiple times and even though this location is well stocked and aesthetically pleasing the vibes are frenetic and low tone energy.Today I literally just finished a 90 minute walk with my dog so I ordered a hot chocolate, provided my first name bought a baguette for my dog and I to share and literally 5 minutes later found out the staff let another customer take my drink with my name and receipt on it!They leave drinks completely unattended with a receipt and other customers just grab whatever is left on the counter.Twice within twenty minutes I attempted to use their bathrooms but it seems two separate bathrooms here aren't enough because it's always extremely crowded here on weekends.Whoever planned the layout of this particular store obviously didn't anticipate how crowded this store would actually be because there's very little wiggle room squeezing oneself in between rows of food and snacks and the people who come here to shop or drink coffee.I'd also like to mention there is communal seating at the front of this grocery store and people are here on their laptops ? seated extremely close together (without masks) even though Chicago is currently enforcing a mask mandate for anyone shopping indoors. Technically speaking this is a grocery store not really a restaurant but people come here for smoothies, pastries and coffee then sit inside in close proximity with eachother and no one seated is wearing a mask. There are freezers full of gourmet grocery items you can reheat in your home, salads, vegetables, Jenni's ice cream and plenty of high priced snacks from gummy bears to cookies here so it's more like a tiny grocery store and everything available has a kind of hipster vibe to it that would appeal to a younger, trendier crowd. The staff members here are very young and kind of understaffed. No one here working behind the counter seemed concerned that another customer grabbed my order ? that I had paid for. They weren't apologetic in the least when I asked why my drink had been taken by a new customer when I'd been patiently waiting outside in the cold.I'm sorry this just isn't the vibe I'm seeking ? I'm not sure if it's the aggressiveness from their customers or the fact that these kids lack professionalism; but this is definitely my least favorite foxtrot location here in Chicago.

I love this place with their wide variety of both food and drink. However, every time I walk in there are a bunch of people sitting maskless in front off their laptops or scrolling through their phones. There is still an indoor mask mandate in Chicago and this irritates me.

One of the most under rated stores in Chicago! Love coming here to buy my snacks!

Great space with tons of really unique snacks/meals/drinks/wines… really anything you could want, they have it. Also a great place for wine by the glass, fresh coffee and tea beverages, and cafe style food. Fun to find new brands and products and even support some local businesses. It was busy, but I think this location is seeing a rush of customers since it’s less than a week old!
