This is a good restaurant. The tacos are amazingly delicious, with a bit of a difference in some ways when it comes to the flavor and ingredients, but the tacos are really delicious. This is a good spot, although I am not completely satisfied with the experience I just had on that particular spot, and I will definitely go back next time. I did not know that Chicago had this kind of hidden demographer. Their food is good, and the portions are good as well. It is not too much, just enough considering its price. The employees they have were friendly and attentive when I went in here for the first time. I've only tried the tacos here and the nachos, but they were really delicious. I must say that each taco they have is really delicious, and sometimes it is really hard to choose what flavor of taco to get because everything tastes really good from this place. It is also a Korean spot, considering the menu with different Korean foods and the interior of the place. Their fish tacos also taste good, and it will definitely be my favorite tacos that they have.
Forastero is generous with flavour, culinary skills, and meat. They also have a vegan menu and GF selections, which are not pale substitutes but full-bodied options in their own right. Will definitely be coming back!
Delicious! We had the bibimbap, some tacos (the shrimp ones were recommended by the server and were especially good), and the kimchi fries. Everything was great and the service was attentive and kind!
Forastero is an exceptional, well-priced, family-owned restaurant. These are my favorite tacos in the city hands down and the wonderful family keeps me coming back as a regular. Highly recommended gem!
This place looks presentable. It's clean and neat. It's chilling inside. I'll try their other dish and I order Go Fish and Kimchi Fries.Go Fish has a crispy and spicy tempura battered haddock with a Korean aioli topped with pickled red onions and Korean slaw. It tastes great and awesome. The veggies on it were fresh. It has a nice combination of toppings inside. Kimchi Fries has seasoned fries topped with sauteed kimchi, sriracha, pork belly, melted white cheddar cheese, forastero crema and scallions that contain some seafood. It has a good quality and is very delicious. Their fries were incredibly crunchy. All of their tacos were excellent. I will try their other dishes next week.

This place is fantastic! Best kimchi fries I’ve ever had. Wife and we’re fighting over which taco was the best- porky pig, esta camarron, go fish or forastero. Wow! What flavor!

Love a good family owned restaurant that makes food from the heart. This Korean Mexican fusion spot by Chef Tony Recillas and his family is absolutely a hidden gem. They have a whole vegan menu. Their dak wings are amazing and fish taco rocks!
Delicious! The fries and aioli are so good, the sandwiches are great. Can't wait to return!
