Been wanting to check this place out considering it's a Filipino fusion place and I'm Filipino always trying to support my people.Good location. Small place, really dirty. Had flies and ants by the window. The concept is great however I wish there were more protein options, or at least allow us to substitute the longanisa with spam considering majority of the dishes was with longanisa. The sinigang fries didn't really taste like sinigang, could use more of that sour taste like the dish.

We were at pride fest, which took place on the street in front of this restaurant. I am SO HAPPY I happened upon it. Service amazing, food ridiculous!!! And the cocktails!! Wowsa! Def worth it. Had the plan B burrito, sans cheese cause of my dairy allergy and the Imelda Marcos cocktail. Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend!

I wanted to love this place because I'm such a fan of Jordan Andino ??. But, I was disappointed. I ordered the taco trio. One adobo chicken. One vege and one langostino (sausage). They all tasted exactly the same and were swimming in grease and burnt chopped onion. The place is tiny, but lively and the staff is very friendly. They've got the service and human touch aspect of the business down, they just need to fine tune the cooking.

A small place with limited seatings. Adobo had a heavy soy sauce taste but nothing else. The garlic fried rice was good and avocado was fresh. Ube ice cream had a very mild ube taste.

Flip sigi is a very cute, small restaurant I was looking forward to visiting in Chicago. Especially after instagram! The cashier was friendly but didn’t really know about the food. The best impression was made my the sausages in the poutine, it was very good. Their sauces, except the clear one because I didn’t try that one, were also flavorful. The calamansi lemonade tasted like very diluted juice. The adobo taco that I ordered was soggy and flavorless and again the sauce that came with to dip the taco in was watered down pico de gallo? It tasted like water and tomato and some onions.

Flip Sigi has been popping up on my Tiktok so I wanted to check it out. I ordered the Longanisa poutine & Dan Dan Noods. My Friends ordered the Cali Burrito, tacos, pork belly buns and we all had the lemonade. The Dan Dan noods were good but it was spicy af! The Longanisa poutine was very good. My friends loved what they ordered. On the menu, it said the Cali burritos are 2 for the price of 1 on Mondays so I’ll definitely be back for that.

New Filipino [fusion] casual spot in Northalsted Chicago. Pictured and ordered here are their Breakfast Bowl, Dan Dan Noods, and homemade Ube Macapuno Ice Cream. All perfect in portion and reasonably priced. Their Pandesal are toasty, different than other Filipino spots and I would totally order a whole dozen. Service, Chef, and Cooks are great, and very accommodating! Coming back to try their Tacos and taking some pints of Ice Cream to-go!

Ordered a California burrito and Chicago dog. Food was different but good. I just wish the portion sizes were bigger because for a burrito, it was pretty small. Small but mighty I guess because it was packed with flavor. The sauces that came on the side were delicious. The hot dog was world class and went extremely well with pickled onion. Overall, I would probably skip delivery and check it out in person. Excited to try the garlic rice next time!

I want to like Flip Sigi more, but I found the food to be overly heavy and I'm not really sold on the Filipino taqueria concept. Service was friendly, prompt and helpful.Everything tasted good, but was heavy in an unbalanced way that wasn't solved by a sprinkling of scallions. My party got the Dan Dan Noods, adobo-rito, a "nice buns" bao, and the longanisa poutine. For the noodles, i would have appreciated more noodles and some brighter flavors instead of the ground beef, which i can't figure out why it's part of the dish at all as there's already chopped up longanisa there. The noodle sauce is good, but i didn't really taste any Sichuan flavors or much spiciness; in its defense the sauce has a vanity name "home run" that doesn't indicate its ingredients or what to expect. The ramen is about the thickness and texture of a typical dried square pack; it isn't bad, but whatever fusion idea is intended here has become unrecognizable to either Chinese, Japanese or Filipino cuisine. Overall i think this dish would benefit for a vegetable or brighter flavors instead of the aforementioned ground beef. The adobo-rito is also not bad. Flavors from the garlic rice and adobo are there. The other component is lettuce and tomato, which i think something punchier could be here instead, like bagoong pico or achara. I also think the burrito could benefit from a saucier inside in addition to that, like the sauce/gravy/liquid from the adobo.Even though it's just a couple bites, i found the pork belly in the bao to be perfectly cooked and a fun hors d'oeuvre. The longanisa poutine is satisfying. It's the same longanisa found in the Dan Dan Noods, which was flavorful, but not particularly sweet which i expect from the name. Melted cheese rather than curds is an ok substitution, and the fries are soft but not soggy and went well with the "atomic" sauce.Lastly, i don't find the menu's sexual branding and themes amusing and would rather have more precise descriptions of the food.Again, i liked all of the flavors, but it i felt like i was just eating manic stoner kitchen concoctions. Because of the salty and heavy nature of the dishes, the last thing i would consider doing after eating here is the intimacy played at in the menu and instead would opt for a walk and a liter of cold water.

Ordered delivery from here and glad I did because everything tasted amazing. Food was not authentic Filipino food, so know that before coming here. It’s fusion for sure! Tasty, although a bit on the pricey side. Will be back!
