Great food and open late. It's the only place around Andersonville that you can get great food late at night. I had a fried egg bacon cheeseburger and fries, my buddy had the same with tots. Large portions, decent price and a late night kitchen make this a great spot when fast food drive through is the only option past 10pm. Thanks for going back to pre-covid operation hours. This place was packed with patrons at 10:30 pm midweek. Highly recommend, for take out, delivery or dine in.
Oh, Fireside. This would have been a 5 star review if I had only kept my visit to brunch. My brunch experience here was amazing - I had the breakfast sandwich and a life-changing banana cake (better than carrot cake). The service is great and the patio is roomy while also being cozy.Dinner was a lesser experience than brunch mainly because the food was not as flavourful. The burger was not special, the fried ribs were small, but the blackened salmon salad was good. The plus to Fireside is they are open later than most places and I wouldn't pass it up for some late night eats.Overall, it's a recommended visit for brunch and a maybe for dinner.
The staff are lovely… incredibly attentive, very kind and on it. Seriously, they make this place. The service is kind of all I can remark on that’s positive, however.The food was not great. The drinks were also not great. They reminded me of undergrad in Champaign, in 2003. The ambiance gave bar in rural Michigan or something. Except patrons and staff more diverse. Which, great! But… Idk.I felt not very good after eating the chopped salad. So heavy and greasy, I just wished I felt like I’d eaten something healthy.Dear management, there are SO many excellent spots in the city to take notes from. I might hit up Hopleaf or Armitage Alehouse and gently remix their menus.
Overall average experience, really kind wait staff but the did have us waiting for a menu a little long. Food and drinks were mid but it was nice seeing all the options. Out back patio was solid experience.
Their baby back is literally fall off the bone tender and juicy, and charred to perfection. You can't get enough of the sauce on it. These guys also do gravy justice. Simple and consistent food as always, and very reasonably priced. They also always meet you with the same positive attitude. You guys are pride of the neighborhood. Happy to have you around!!
Great service and food. Only knock is they keep liquor bottles pretty much on the floor. It makes me not want to order a cocktail. We did order one and it was missing a key ingredient (bacon). They still charged full price and the drink was really small. But we still go back for the reasons mentioned.

This place is a Hidden Gem! Wonderful, independently owned restaurant right inside a wonderful Ravenswood Avenue neighborhood. All of our food was cooked to order and was delivered to our table piping hot. I give this restaurant five stars!
Amazing food, great service and the most cozy, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere/ambiance you can imagine in a restaurant. You feel like you're at someone's home. Loved my experience!
