We were in Chicago for a long weekend visiting my son and we decided to do a mini bar crawl after dinner just to hit a couple different places we had never been to. We were walking by Fado's and the side windows were open , we heard live music, a guy playing guitar and as we all love live music we decided to go in for a couple cocktails,. We sat at the bar there was a female and a male bartender working, the guy waited on us...........he was very tall with a man bun longer hair.............what a miserable person never said hello how are you what can I get you............he looked at you lifted his chin as if to say what do you need, never smiled and had absolutely NO PERSONALITY what so ever, what a drag he was............if you don't like your job find another one. His demeanor turned us off right away, thank god for the second drink we had the female bartender long dark hair with arm tattoos she was super sweet and friendly she deserved the tip we left he didn't deserve a penny for his rude attitude, you would probably do a much better bar business if you had all females or a guy that actually liked his job and knew what being friendly meant. !!! We did not eat but were told the food is good especially the large pretzel.

There’s so many great things to say about this place. I’ve been here quite a few times for different occasions. I also like to stop in every so often and just enjoy my-time having a Guinness. If you’re visiting town I do recommend checking this place out. if you like a cool, relaxing, old Irish bar kind of vibe.

This was a great spot with such a perfect selection of traditional and interesting pub fare. The bar mixed up a great old fashioned and the food was so delicious. I had the lamb French dip with a salad. Even the salad was really flavorful with quality, crunchy lettuce and veggies. The French dip was awesome. Really soft bread and nice, thick au jus.

Got the giant pretzel and the chicken sandwich and they were both excellent. The bartenders where nice and I had a good a very good experience. It was my first time in Chicago and I would definitely eat there again.

I saw they had shepherds pie and decided to give it a try. The staff was great, the atmosphere felt like spending an evening in a pub in Ireland, and the beer was properly served. Rugby played on the TV and my shepherd's pie came out in a cast iron skillet. Did I burn my mouth a wee bit? Yes. Did it taste amazing and authentic? Yes. Would I get it again the next day? Yes. It was awesome and I would stop by for a bite or a beer any day.

Perfect pint of Guiness! The pretzel was gigantic yet delicious. We went for dinner on a weeknight with our kids. It wasn’t very busy. Very pleasant. Our girls enjoyed their food and we met the general manager, Kirin, who was a lovely gentleman. Our server was attentive and friendly. Great evening.

Celebrated St. Patty’s Day here & our server Kayla was so personable. We were a party of 6. What a great experience to get in line at 8a & be one of the 1st to get a table! Menu was super simple w/ 3 great options (traditional Irish breakfast, wished they would put more of a modern Irish twist to it). Definitely recommend this spot as your go to “Must Eat /Drink in Chicago “ spot.

They open early for Manchester United matches, so we found our way there for coffee, Irish breakfast, and beer. I've never been to Ireland to compare, but the black and white pudding is fantastic. Texture comes from the oats within, both had a little spicy heat to them.

Went last week for Fish and Chips- Very good (from a NZer). Back tonight and had the double cheese burger - best burger I've had since living in USA (7 weeks). Great beer selection. Friendly staff

Excellent local Irish pub to watch all English premiere games.
