Etta is a lovely brunch option for a larger group or an intimate 2 person meal. The price point is a little steep with house cocktails averaging about $16 per drink. The "mimosas for the table" option is $45, a bit much for some cava & OJ/grapefruit juice, but it makes sense if you're planning to have more than one drink. For brunch we ordered the Summer Hash & the Chicken Sandwich, the maple bacon & the Kouign-amannThe indoor/outdoor patio is first come, first serve.
I went here over the weekend with my husband, friend, and her boyfriend. We all had an amazing dinner! Our server was very sweet and attentive (I wish I could remember her name). She made some great recommendations for the table. I didn’t take a picture of everything, but we tried the focaccia, broccolini, cacio e pepe, squid ink pasta, pork shank picnic, and the espresso/tequila shot with birthday cake macaron for dessert. Wow! Everything was amazing. I’ll definitely want to come back again to try more of the food as well as brunch!
Our party of 7 dined at Etta over the weekend. The atmosphere, service, and food were everything. The ricotta pillows were definitely a group favorite for an appetizer. We ordered three different pastas and the chicken to split throughout our group - it was all so delicious!

Fantastic food! My friends and I split three appetizers, all three were delicious, the shrimp was my favorite! My boyfriend and I split the squid ink pasta and a pizza. My friends also split pasta and a pizza. Everything tasted great. The giardiniera is made in the kitchen and it is spicy but not overpowering. The pasta portions are small but the pizza is big. So if you like sharing this is a great place to come to.I had a headache so I wasn't drinking, so I order a mocktail instead and it was super refreshing and delicious!It was raining, so the patio didn't have its windows open, we sat on the second floor which was pretty loud it was hard to hear my friends. I was told by my friend that the first floor is much quieter.Our server was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable!Would love to come back and try the mouth pour drink, looked like fun!

Hot rack roasted oysters were a delicious spicy surprise. My new favorite appetizer. Branzini and steak were both cooked to perfection and delicious. Aesthetics of this location great also. Location was bright, all glass behind the bar. Tall ceilings, 2 floors, fresh, new. Ryan was awesome too!
Might have been the best Cesear Salad I have ever had!And a great selection of tequilas! La Gritona is always a great staple so happy to see them represented.Definitely swing by for a killer cocktail and a tasty bite.
Had one of the best dinners here. Everything about that night was amazing. The vibes were great. The aesthetics were beautiful. The food was delicious. My friends and I came on a Saturday night and I was glad that we had reservations because every table was filled for the night. We were seated right away and the waitress was very helpful.For drinks, we got the Porrin & A Polaroid. The drink in the porrin glass was rose and we were given a film of polaroids to take photos with. At first, some of our friends were skeptical but the whole experience turned out to be so fun! You have someone else pour rose directly into your mouth and you take a picture to have that memory.As for the food, every single dish was delicious!Again, this was one of the best meals I've had in Chicago. I highly recommend if you're in the area!
On this visit, Jessica R, our server was very nice and polite, got our order right, and took the time to explain the menu. The food was, and the drinks were as well. The second floor has an open patio to enjoy some sun during the summer. They have a large bar just in case you're just here for a drink. The decor is chic and cool, I like the ambiance. There is paid parking all around the main avenue.
