Elske may be passed itâs prime. Prior to the pandemic this was one of our favorite restaurants. It was our first time back in 2 1/2 years and the quality of the food and the service just were not as good. Dishes were less flavorful and the time between courses was too long. We finally cancelled the main course when it still hadnât arrived 2 1/2 hours after we were seated. Some of the tables seemed to be served in a timely manner, others did not. No one likes to be rushed, but our wait was far too long. To their credit, they did comp our wine as an apology, but it is sad to leave a restaurant hungry.
went because of restaurant having a michelin star service waitress didnât explain the menu unless asked food lacks flavor the chicken thigh lacks flavor the steak has chewing gum texture, i have no idea how this restaurant received a michelin star iâm very confused left the restaurant without eating the entrees

Great patio for a safe dinner outside. The smell of the fireplace could alter the smell of the dishes if you are too close. The tasting menu with the non alcoholic pairing is memorable. Good value for the price. Worth its one star Michelin.
One of the more memorable meals I've had in Chicago recently. Interesting flavors, textures and takes on dishes; excellent service and great vibes. The outside area is very cozy and charming.
Excellent tasting menu. The non-alcoholic pairing is a great experience (more than the wine pairing). Very nice patio for outdoor dining -the chairs are not very comfy. Attentive and effective staff. Definitely worth its Michelin Star. About 1h30 and $215 per person all included.
Great food. Refreshingly different. Have not had Scandinavian food since a trip to Vanos in 2019.

Every single dish from the gouda on crackers to the meringue was unforgettable and absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to return to try everything on their next menu. A beautiful date spot to celebrate. Our server was outstanding and so kind. I will be recommending this restaurant to many many people. Thank you
