If you are in Little Village stop here. More parking if you pull into ally between restaurant and next street. There is a parking lot there. Do not park blocking any garages.Great vegetarian options.
Service was slow. Food was less than average at best. It used to be great, but not sure what happened. Won't be returning.
Haven't been there since last summer as am discovering other vegan restaurants. Liked the oat milk licuados though. Very good! Their asada and Chorizo vegan tacos are yummy. Have to request no dairy though. I tried the pastor and even when I ate pork years ago was picky about my al pastor. Wasn't bad Just preferred the other ones. Asked for vegan gordita with asada but was told they don't make that. Maybe the gordita masa isn't vegan? Will have to ask next time. The prices are reasonable and I grew up in the area but only went with my dad occasionally. Glad there's vegan options now! Definitely love the licuados ?
Love the food especially the Vegetarian Hamburgers... Mmm mmm mmm 100% !!!. The service and staff is phenomenal

Food was hot but the seating is uncomfortable to those who are a bit big in size. They need bigger booths. Other than that it's ok.
The food is always delicious. The prices are great too. I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant that also carries vegetarian dishes!
I was saddened to hear that the owners husband had past away. I grew up going here with my mom so it was a very nostalgic place for me but I just recently went and the food changed. I would avoid going to the other locations because only this location cared about their quality but this time the rice was watery and I could of sworn they used to serve black beans with what I used to order. I used to think the husband was the owner and they told me that the wife had always been the owner but he was always there making sure everything was done with care. You will be missed sir.
Always order to go cause before covid it use to be PACKED AF on weekends. Their Pico de gallo asada so delicious!! & Tortas are very good & cheap compared to Los Comales. Fast service too!
I love el faro restaurant I grew up always eating here brings a lot of good memories and no restaurant can compare to the food they have here(: and the waiter Ricardo is awesome he's my waiter I always go to him he makes me feel more comfortable and welcomed
