Opened the 4th of July, so just had to stop by.High quality food and service. No exaggeration, the customer service here is an example for others to follow: respectful, attentive, quick, personable, welcoming... it adds to the flavor of the atmosphere with the smooth tropical sounds playing from the old school jukebox, the interior's design, and the unique front counter paying homage to the motherland (front end half/clip of a classic Cadillac reminiscent to those preserved back on the island).Regularly visit, sometimes multiple in a week, for over a year, and have had no bad experiences yet, personally or through witnessing anyone else while in the establishment. I pick up my order worry free without having to verify contents before exit (plenty of napkins, just ask for the hot sauce). Place is always clean, and even though they keep busy, your accurate, warm, and fresh food is a phone call order away, with a realistic quote on prep time before it's ready for your pick up. plenty of space in their dining area for those who prefer (don't let the subtle exterior make you miss). Early open, late close (service window south of main entrance, towards small, side parking lot). Salud!

Alright - this place is bomb!!! First go to Ricky - he’s usually behind the counter and is as awesome as they come. What an awesomely cool dude who loves the food that comes out of his kitchen. Amazing guy!!Second - eat any of the empanadas / sandwiches - make sure you get it with their hot sauce - and man oh man - you’re in for a good time.Third - get a cafe con leche - it’s sweet it’s hot it’s creamy. They steam the milk at really high temps and it’s so deliciously decadent and it’s worth it.Make sure ti pick up extra so you can eat it later - it’s worth it.

The best jabirrito I have ever tasted. This is my 3rd restaurant I visited trying to find the best jabirrito and I have been back 5 times since i tried it from here and I just tried it last week lol So delicious. Please if you have never tried it and wonder where to go please try this place!! The rice is sooooo good not mushy or hard.
I absolutely love Cubanito it’s so good!! Yum, yum, yum I love my steak sandwich with extra sauce, the ham & cheese empanada, the steak empanada & my cafe con leche is to die for!! The 4 guys working are such an awesome team they are sweet as pie & work so hard to serve you with a smile & give nice and hot food every single visit!! My team loves Cubanito!! ? ??
Great sandwiches no matter what you get. But of course the Cubano is the best. Great coffee too. Can't go wrong.
I was always told about this place but I'm old school. Don't get me wrong I'm always willing to try something new but if I like a place that I know is great it's hard for me to leave that place especially when the food at said place is awesome. Well today I went with my or let's say against my beliefs and said f'it let's go for it so I ended up at Cubanitos to try out their steak sandwich which I've heard from friends was was. I must say I entered place shocked at how nice the place was. It was decorated nice, their was allot of space which you couldn't really tell from the outside. I was again shocked at how comfortable and cozy the place was designed. Well the sandwiches was good not the best but good. I would definitely go again. I would like to hear your opinion on this place as we ll. Anyways that's my take on this cozy little place.
If I were to recommend a good Cuban restaurant here in Chicago, then I would most probably recommend this one. I know I just went here for the first time, but the experience I had was so good that they deserve this review and my recommendation. The restaurant may not really look good from the outside, but it is a decent restaurant. I did not want to drive longer, so I chose to eat here. The place is clean, and the customer service is friendly and accommodating. I basically ordered a Cuban sandwich and, of course, the cafe con leche. These are the only familiar foods I know, so that is why I ordered them, but they also have other good options on their menu. The service is also fast. After eating the sandwich and the cafe con leche, I can say that it is an authentic Cuban sandwich. The Cuban sandwich is so good, as is the cafe con leche. It is good and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be back. I also recommended this place to my other friends, and some of them already know this place, and they also agree that this is an authentic and good Cuban restaurant.
